Personal?

I was with my husband in the doctors office when he was told he had with prostate cancer.

The worse word is obviously cancer.

It also turned out to be one of the best conversations as the doctor described the prognosis and treatment heoffers that can give a 99% success rate of survival.

He picked the best cancer to have.
Much much better than pancreatic.

My worst conversations are legion.
To pick the worst....
It was testifying in court. I was answering
non sequitur questions designed to cost me
($600/hour for 2 lawyers working for me)
in order to coerce settlement in a bogus case.
BTW, I took the most expensive route...I won.
(I don't reward fraudsters.)

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
I was a telemarketer bothering and pestering people for sales while they ate dinner and the like as a teen.

My worse conversations dealt with trying to sell to a member of a family who had recently died or a death was still fresh.

Needless to say, I was rightfully told in no uncertain terms to go to hell.

The worst?
I don’t know anymore…
being told that someone had died and not knowing if it was completely an accident or her abusive boyfriend having something to do with it and feeling like you didn’t do enough to help her (that was one)

Finding out patri-narc was in the DM’s of my younger sister (different dads) trying to talk **** about me & trying to move to her… then I asked him to get help for his drinking and he said no. then the realisation came that I never experienced genuine love from my parents

Telling matri-narc that I was getting married & asking if she was going to come to the wedding (mainly because other people told me that’s my “mother” and I should tell her) and she responded to let me know that she needs to focus on herself

I had a roommate that did telemarketing.

She called an older gentleman who had just returned from a dream vacation in Africa and wanted someone to talk to about it.

There was a rule that you couldn't hang up on the potential customer, no matter what was said.

For two hours, they talked about his trip. She said it was one of the best days at work she ever had.

Loving God and my neighbor as myself.
Also what are the worst words that you have heard or seen written ?
Online? It had to be the person who tried to tell me that the Jews had caused the holocaust in order to gain sympathy.

IRL? I honestly don't know. Real life is so much better than online, that by comparison nothing IRL just seems that bad.
