When I was in army training some of us Had to clean the cobble stones leading into camp with a tooth brush.
I used to work with a manager at Arbys that would make people clean trash-cans, window frames, the floor, fry holding bin, and just about everything else with a toothbrush. One night she was yelling at me to "get on my ****ing hands and knees and clean under the gd sinks with this mfing toothbrush. And not the tooth side, the denture side." I walked out that night, came in the next morning and told the GM that I was being harrased, and I would file wrongfull termination if I lost my job. The GM, who didn't like that manager, said no problem. I will kill people if that manager is ever hired back.
My worst job was at McDonalds. I hated the fact I was being paid minimum wage (5.15) to cook for more than half the town during lunch and dinner hours. The store would only have one cook, and that one cook would know what Hell is like after the lunch rush was over. Not only is there gallons of grease going in the air, and all over your skin, it's as hot as suana, with no air-circulation, fan, or air-conditioning. My work shirt would be soaked with sweat about half way into a rush, I would be dripping sweat EVERYWHERE, including the grill and in the fryer grease. Once, there was actually a small puddle of my sweat after one rush. Id get sweat in my eyes and in my mouth. Imagine being confined to a small area that is around 100 degrees F, a bunch of grease in the air, and you cook easily over 300 hamburgers in just over an hour. Plus several chicken and fish fillets, hundreds of chicken nuggets, and grilled chicken breast. It IS NOT FUN!
