- We buried a grandson last Friday morning, but we also came together as family.
- Last night I heard about Popcorn for the People. I like popcorn, so ...
- Tonight, it's sushi with a couple of grandkids, and I'm anticipating an expensive dinner.
We had discussed adding the song to one of our sets, but the consensus was the tempo was too slow to be considered danceable, and most bar cover bands focus on danceable music.
But I see this video, they threw in a tempo change in the middle that fixed that.

Trying to balance dealing with work changes, with moving to a new home, and my dad's cancer. I'm not exactly taking it in stride, but I am hovering over water, instead of drowning.

So glad! I've come to really like it. I'm going to try all the teas now. I am British so... grew up drinking Assam, Ceylon, Earl Grey etc. Branching out.

My work banned personal music speakers. They funnel the radio music through the building speakers, and the same songs loop like three times a shift. I'm going nuts at work we all hate the music situation.

On the plus side though, the work screwed up and installed guest wifi this week. So I be on my phone all day now I don't care.

Just had a nice long weekend (took Friday and Monday as annual leave). Sat was a younger brother's birthday and Sun was my mum's (and mothers day). So I spent yesterday with them.
The other half and I had our nephew over on Saturday - ate pizza and watched some of the Monarch series. He's right into Godzilla. That was fun.
On Friday we took the dog to reservoir/country park area for a walk in the woods.

Not really my thing. I prefer 'real' tea so to speak (not sure its real name).
Navigating reciprocal romantic feelings with a close friend and mutually figuring out where to go from here.

I just got back from Grandma's house(she doesn't live there anymore). Its being cleaned out...
She was a [clean] hoarder, and there's just so. much. stuff. Its overwhelming.
