Which is why they'll be getting my vote
Liberal Democrats have abandoned free speech so they are no longer liberal. They are opposing the referendum result so they are no longer democratic.
I recently read that while the House of Lords is technically higher in status than the House of Commons, the later is in practice more influential.
That is an interesting matter to consider. But seeing how the House of Lords houses people such as this much honorable lady, who has both the wisdom and the willingness to say badly needed messages, I have learned to value and cherish it. I wish there was someone comparable here in Brazil.
No, it is not rats leaving a sinking ship. She was right about Jeremy Corbyn, but she does not understand democracy.
She praises the current Tory leader but even the former Tory deputy leader has announced that he will be voting for the Liberal Democrats who are neither liberal nor democratic.
Talk about rats leaving a sinking ship.

It is an attempt by Remainers to find a home/vote that represents their feelings on Brexit. This is trying to mitigate on Thursday money grabbing man Farage claiming that everyone wants a 'no deal' Brexit when they obviously don't and don't know what they are letting themselves in for.
If you hadn't realised by now the BBC is firmly in the Brexit camp. The number of times they give Farage, Rees Mogg, etc a platform speaks volumes.Even the Remainer in chief at the BBC, Andrew Marr admits that the country now wants a ‘no deal’ exit from the EU.

"The Country" seems to have forgotten about that during the partial elections of a couple of weeks ago, doesn't it?Even the Remainer in chief at the BBC, Andrew Marr admits that the country now wants a ‘no deal’ exit from the EU.

The way in which voters moved from Brexit-supporting parties (including the current ruling party and the official opposition) towards Remain-supporting parties was clear and dramatic, despite the awkward, stubborn attempts at denial from May and Corbyn.
One truly gets the sense that, instead, "the Country" has realized the folly of Brexit.
I see the word "Vassal" has resurrected itself for the first time since the referendum. Only public schoolboys knew what it meant before then.We will find out what the country wants next Monday.
To be accurate what you should have written was vassal state supporting parties if you are referring to the current ruling party and the official opposition.

That is what the Remain stance implies, yes.And we will never leave if your lot get their way.
I see the Brexit Party has cancelled Free Speech. It has banned Channel 4 from all its events.
I thought you were a great believer in Free Speech?Who can blame them?
