I thought it was going to be easy?
No deal isn't what was voted for - the EU couldn't do without us, it'll be so easy to get a deal they'll be begging us to do deals.
No deal is a disaster; Landrover have already said they are off if no deal, other key manufacturers will follow. The banks will bail out of London. But... we can have blue passports (as we always could have had)

I think you need to start following Jacob.

I have always been a supporter of Free Speech even if some will insist on calling it Hate Speech because they want to close it down.

BTW, I hope you are not trying to convert me to Islam.

You have, what a surprise it isn't obvious from your posts

Why would i do that? Anyway what is your problem with freedom of religion?

What, and go to Ireland.
He has lied to the UK, along with his mates Boris, Davis, Bannon; he will get his comeuppance if we crash out.
I still hope that there is a lot of brinksmanship going on but who knows?

Altfish...I don't think you're in good faith.
You pretend to ignore what's going on behind the curtains of Brexit...but you do know.
I've explained it to you 100 times. The Bank of England doesn't want to give up its ECB stakes.
Rees-Mogg has recently humiliated the governor of the BofE because it's him the person who is hindering brexit manipulating Barnier and co.

Once Bankitalia gets as many stakes as Banque de France, this EU is over. Italy will ask to rewrite Maastricht...and Merkel will commit suicide.

Did you see those pigs flying over the channel the other day.

Estro, I sincerely hope that the UK will be ok after Brexit, no, I hope we will prosper when we deal with our new trading partners. Bringing food and goods in from much further away, accepting lower standards of food hygiene and dealing with the despots of the world. Lower standards of safety and increased environmental damage are not things I look forward to.

But hey ho, Brexit means Brexit.

The EU has already gathered in the despots of the world and wants to distribute them amongst the member nations.

Some of those nations are not accepting them and I don’t blame them.

When I used the word 'despot' I was referring to less than ethical leaders, like Trump. Putin, Xi Jinping, and most of the African leaders.

All leaving the EU will do for our immigration will be to drastically reduce the number of EU citizens entering and increase the number of African and Asian immigrants.

A country has no thoughts.

I'd like to go to the nearest supermarket to sell some of my stuff to their custumers as well, but the manager don't like the idea. Can't imagine why though.

Finally PM May has awoken....

Yes, May...you are dealing with a bankers' dictatorship (the EU). You won't obtain anything through "respect" and "kindness".
You have to be tough.

She's too illiterate to spell "respect".

No personal offence meant to her - but she really is damaging the whole world with her actions and inactions and I believe she sincerely does not understand that.

What bothers me about all this is that she ran across the channel to get Merkel’s approval for Chequers before she disclosed it to her governments cabinet.

All that has been going on over the past few days could just be theatrics to force through a watered down version of Chequers on the basis that it is the best deal obtainable.

This would not be the deal that the British people voted for. Out means out.

What would be the point in giving her governmet a plan the EU does not support?

Meeting Frau Merkel before Chequers was weird.

OMG...I hope not.

Indeed. That's why, after Chequers, she phoned our Prime Minister (15 August I think), and according to an indiscreet source, there are secret agreements going on between the two.
Apparently, Conte has the task to convince other EU leaders to favor bilateral agreements with UK in case of a "no deal"..
