What's Your Blood Group?

Heyo

Veteran Member
A priest, an imam and a rabbit walk into a doctor's office. The doctor asks: "What are your blood types?".
The rabbit says: "I think I'm a type-O.".

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
I'm O- and used to get calls all the time.
I learned to say I just got a tattoo and that usually gives a 3-6 months waiting period.
After about 3-4 times of saying that the calls came to an end.
OH I don't mind giving platelets even though it can be time consuming. My dad had an autoimmune disorder of his platelets so I give them in his memory.

It's not that pleasant to be 0- because the blood donors unit asks for your contribution.
It's better to have a rare blood type.

AB+ (me) is about 2% in the UK, with AB- being the one most rare. And even if we can accept all other blood groups, it seems that AB+ are more likely to get some diseases than others, so not all good.

I have too many platelets and my dad had too few. Weird how that worked out. Both conditions are rare. I don't have a crazy amount of platelets but I have a bit too many so I take a baby aspirin every day per my doctor.

Mine is A-

I never knew what it was until my early 40's when I had a blood transfusion and I noticed it written on the bags of blood. Apparently it's not very common which is probably a bad thing.
