BLUE

I absolutely love blue. It is calming and soothing. It reminds me of the ocean...and I love the water. I live in blue. Most my clothes, my bedspread, rugs, and just about everything in my bathroom is blue.

I also dig MrsCardero's blue rose. I want one! :sad4:

The blue rose means mystery, an appreciation for the enigmatic, the inexplicable is expressed. The blue rose, a tantalizing vision that cannot be totally pinned down, a mystery that cannot be fully unraveled.

A person who receives the blue rose is the subject of much speculation and thought. A complex personality that does not allow easy interpretation.

Another meaning of the blue rose is that it symbolizes the impossible, or the unattainable. Since the blue rose itself is a rarity in nature, it stands for something that is hardly within one's grasp, an object that seems too difficult to be achieved.

Thus the blue rose is admired and revered as an unrealizable dream.
The blue rose being in itself something very extraordinary expresses that very same feeling. "You are extraordinarily wonderful".

A truly wonderful personality, almost chimera-like is what the blue rose says about the receiver. The blue rose is all about a flight of fancy, an irrepressible imagination.

One should never forget that as a flower that is not found freely in nature, the blue rose has a certain charm and unique mystery that does not reveal itself freely.

Amethyst has been in use for thousands of years in magic, healing and psychic empowerment. Its violet color makes this one of the most sought after variety of quartz. It has a large number of qualities and uses that have been given it over the years and it is said to be a stone that radiates energy which has often been referred to as the purple ray.
It is referred to as a Spiritual Stone because its color violet is same as that of the crown chakra. Meditation with it helps one in reaching the spiritual aspect of the universe.

It also happens to be my birthstone.

I hate this question! Never in my whole life have I been able to pick just one color I love most of all. As a kid I would even ponder which crayons were worth less to me than others, and should be weeded out of the crayon box, but I couldn't bring myself to reject any of them. Not even pink! I love colors! You can have my whole box of crayons when you pry it out of my cold, dead hands.

I just realized the same thing. Maze is right. If you pay attention, you can really tell what some of RF members favorite colors are. :biglaugh:

Ah, but by that logic, people might think that purple is my favourite colour. :p But it actually comes second to green. :D Someone else was already using green when I signed on (no prizes for guessing who lol ), and I wanted to be different, so purple (or more correctly, indigo), it is.
I really love wearing red and black (and they also happen to be the colours of my footy team). Can't like pink though. Pink is bad. Well, except maybe this: :flower2: But then, I don't have to wear that. ;) I was badly scarred by a hot pink tracksuit as a kid. *shudders*
