What's Your Favorite Drinking Game?

Here's mine.

The Game of Mexican

Mexican is a drinking game played with dice. It is normally played with Tequila, Mescal or Mexican Beer, hence the name, Mexican. Two six sided dice and a cup that can not be seen through are needed to play. The object is to roll a higher score than the player before you. Players sit around a table and start the game going clockwise. When rolling the dice it is important not to let the other players see your roll by hiding it under the cup, as you are allowed to lie about the outcome. It is then up to the next player to decide if they believe you or not. If the next player believes you he rolls with out looking at the dice and has to beat your score. Scoring is done by creating a two digit number using the highest dice first, thus a 5 and a 4 become a 54. (Important Note: a number can beat itself, so, a 54 can beat a 54.) Doubles are different and can only be beat by the same double or a higher double. When a player does not believe the roller has the roll they claim, the player has the opportunity to challenge. A player challenges by lifting the cup and exposing the dice to the table. If the roller is lying the roller drinks, if the roller is telling the truth the challenger drinks. Once the challenge has been made and the dice have been seen the game continues where it left off with an open table. (Important Note: open table means no score to be beat.) No one is ever skipped in this game. The challenger rolls whether he had to drink or not.

If this sounds like a simple game, well, it is. There are, however, a couple of twists. The first is a set of special numbers. They are the three lowest numbers possible to be rolled. They are 21, 31, and 32.

When a player rolls a 21 they should, slyly, place their finger on the table. The last person to notice and also place their finger on the table will have to drink. This person is then allowed to challenge the roller, but only after they have had their drink. The roll reverts back to the next person in line after the challenge is over. (Important Note: it is not allowed to anticipate the finger. Anyone who jumps the gun and places their finger on the table before the roller has to drink.)

When a player rolls a 31 they expose the dice and everyone must drink. This is the only number that can not be lied about because it must be shown before everyone drinks.

When a player rolls a 32 they should send the dice back in the reverse order and the player who rolled before must beat their own roll. The player can challenge a 32 and if the roller is lying they drink but the order of play is still reversed with an open table.

One last Important Note. It is not allowed to pick the dice up off the table as someone may see what they are. The next roller must slide the dice off the table with the cup into their hand. More skilled players can sling the dice and cup off the table catching the dice with cup and slamming them down on the table. It is suggested that players practice this a bit before play because of one last rule. If a player drops one die on the floor they must drink once, two dice - two drinks, two dice and the cup - three drinks. If the player hits the floor they must sit out two rounds.

Special Numbers

21 - Finger on the Table
31 - Social Drink
32 - Reverse Order

Have you heard about this variation of quarters? It's called chase.

You need a lot of people for this one and two glasses to bounce quarters in. Sitting in a circle, the glasses and quarters are given to two people on opposite sides of the table with an equal number, (or near equal), between them. The two people start trying to bounce quarters into the glasses, they bounce them until they make it and then pass the glass along and the next person bounces the quarter till they make it and can pass it. This goes on until one glass catches up to the other one, then that person has to drink.

I like this one because it doesn't actually involve a lot of drinking and you get more practice bouncing than in regular quarters.

kaartje blazen..
Pff, I don't know how you people call that in english.. You place a deck of cards on top of a glass of beer or whatever. Then people take turns blowing of one or several cards. The person that blows of the last card drinks the entire glass..
Way too simple to be a real game, but appareantly I have the abillity to generate a puff that moves only one card. I only need to drink when I really want to :p

Too many years ago, we tried a game where one takes one shot of beer per minute for one hour (works out to 5 12 oz. beers). Most people can't finish it.......at first you want more than one shot, and after 20 minutes or so it's "Again already?", and by 45 minutes or so, they are hammered.....Haven't done that one in more years than I want to admit to.

My favourite drinking game: Buffalo.

Here's how it works:

- you start playing when someone tells you that you've joined the game.
- from then on, you can only hold alcoholic drinks in your non-dominant hand. Non-alcoholic drinks can still be held in either hand.

- if you're holding an alcoholic drink yourself and catch someone in the game holding an alcoholic drink in their dominant hand, you can point at them and say "Buffalo".
- if it's a legitimate Buffalo, they have to chug the drink they're holding.
- if it's a bad Buffalo (e.g. the drink was non-alcoholic or you Buffaloed a leftie for holding a drink in his right hand), you have to chug the drink you're holding.

- the game never ends. Once you start, you're in the game for life.

I think there's also a variant where you can Buffalo someone even if you aren't holding a drink, but if it's a bad Buffalo you immediately have to get a drink and chug it.

A few of my friends made it into the Century Club: it's like what you describe, only for 100 minutes.

About 2/3 of the way through, my one friend took his shot, ran to the toilet, puked, ran back and got the next shot on his minute.

Who needs a game? Gimme a good beer, I don't want to have to wait for my "turn". LOL
For you there is always "the extra glass" where the person who drinks the last sip of his own beer also has to take the full extra glass in one take. It's drinking fast not to get drunk :D

My favorite game is to drink until every girl in the bar is hot.

I like the one where you wake up and try to figure out where you are and how you got there.
