When a black "cloud" leave the mind.

Spirit of Light

Be who ever you want
Sorry for using my self as the example in yet an other thread from me.

The last few days i have had an experience that truly changed my way of thinking.
It feels like a black cloud has been lifted off of my mind. I see a lot more clearly now, and i dont mean just spirituality, i mean in the physical world too.
My brain seem to not be sluggish anymore. And emotions like anger, frustration and hoplesness is gone. Even my body feels more light.
I dont know yet if this is temporarly or will stay this way.

Have you has similar experience in your life, spiritually or non spiritually ?

Yes and it only lasted a few days for me at a time.

It's like your body noticing your spiritual vibrations changing.

But to explain further...

What I really see it as is courage and endurance. That moment when you think you can't go any further, and your body against all odds says it can and gives you a boost of adrenaline.

I'm in the middle of it. I haven't got to the point of "surrender" yet... but working with my therapist, healing creativity, and other things to get there. The healing process is my purpose. The only one I seem to have as so far but I won't get to the stage you're at (from what I've been reading lately) till later. A lot of people get it from a life shift like yourself or a traumatic event or so have you.

For me, I'm looking back at past events and seeing what I can learn from them sense the good and bad both shape my personality and why I do things today and how I think and behave around people. I don't have an idea of what you're experience spiritually given we have different beliefs; but, I do find myself praying through art and journaling. My therapist asked "who are you praying to." I said no one. I'm learning to be grateful in and of itself.

Congrads.

I think most Americans feels this way right now too, that Trump is going away. ;)

Seriously though, yes, that is a state you want to be in as much as possible, to live free from fear, guilt, shame, and anger. Life is much more relaxed, open, and free without all that junk we carry around all the time.

To me it feels like the change i am going through started when i converted to Islam, from that moment until today something i can not explain have been developing within me. Is it islam, or just more determination from me? I dont know :)
I just holding on and enjoying the ride so to speak :)

It sounds like your depression is lifting. Not a surprise given your new spirituality.
Yes i believe so too :)
It feels good, because the cloud was in my mind since i was a little boy. Maybe 6-7 years old when it started. So it feels like freedom

I can see this, and understand it. Yes, I'd say it very much has to do with your intention to find connection and grounding for yourself. This is about you discovering yourself.

Word of advise, don't let it upset you when you find yourself back where you were before. It's a process. Keep intention true, and relax expectations of instant outcomes. They'll come, in stages. There will be steps forward, and steps back. Just "keep the faith" as they say.

I will carry your advice with me, and remember it if i realize i going back to the negative in life.

I wonder if you are experiencing the clarity that an epiphany can make. Temporary though the feeling may be, at least it's a symbol that you are moving in a good direction.

Always stay vigilant, and revel in those moments when they present themselves. :)

Beware the temporary ... just sayin'

From the Tirukkural ... "One of man's greatest follies is to view the temporal as permanent'.

Physically, for me, it was about a week after I became vegetarian, almost 50 years ago. But yes, I agree with others a goal is to keep it that way. For serious practitioners of yoga, spiritual practices, that's why daily consistency is the key. I feel heavy if I miss my morning sadhana. It's like not eating, but in a spiritual way. The soul body needs charging too.

I found a way of thinking positive even when things look like its going wrong.
My way is to not think "oh crap" but instead try to stop in the moment to assess the situation:) so far it works well. And to be positive in the difficulty

So true. I am old enough now that I can at least be honest with myself around this stuff. In some areas, I seem much less encumbered then most around me. In other areas moreso. Trying to work out exactly why, or how to improve one without impacting on the others, is an interesting challenge.

For me, it varies. When discussing depression with my Guru, he wisely suggested to always look at frequency. So for stuff like what you're discussing, I'd be happy if I could do that a few more times in a week, that I did 20 years ago. I don't see magical transformation in one snap of the finger. But then, the Hindu has reincarnation to fall back on. We get lots and lots and lots of chances to get it right.

There are lots of different areas in our lives that get blocked, depending on our personalities and our histories. There's always yet another layer to the onion to peel back, and different onions too. It's the onions we fear the most, that are the ones which we'll want to push into the corners and avoid, and deny we're even doing that. We disown those ones, and they become our shadows.

They are the one's which will eventually insist on being faced, rather than avoided. For me, that was rage. You see yourself as all enlightened and such over in these areas, yet what the hell was that, when that comes out. Running with the onion metaphor, we've got a lot of prep work we need to do in our kitchens.
