When a sitting president essentially states that half the country is "garbage".

Blah, blah, blah... all the politicians, all the celebrities, they all make great sums of money just for talking. Meanwhile, I'm learning a trade where I could lose fingers and arms. Who cares. Anybody care? Any of you forumers? No, you'd rather pay attention to all of these tv characters. As for immigrants, well I don't hate the many people I've worked with from all over, but I will say this.. I was working for the temp agency during my twenties right alongside them, in low-skilled labor, but it really seemed like the immigrant men were all able to get married with their temp jobs. In my culture however, I was considered a loser for working that same job. This isn't a criticism of immigrants, good for them that they got relative social success, but I think there is an asymmetry here

I think it speaks to why rich countries want immigrant labor in the first place - in rich countries, certain kinds of labor are socially devalued for native citizens of said country. Therefore, when the native citizen engages in such labor, he is considered an outcast, and people wonder why he can't do better. Immigrants are offered this work, and are then considered very socially successful in their own spheres, which I think matter a lot. I don't think any of this is well understood at all, if I am correct.

I care, and I don't know why other people wouldn't with the exception that it is normal to care mostly about oneself and maybe 10% (20%? 30%?) about other people. To care too much usually is an overextention of empathy and generally causes one to annoy strangers by being overly helpful and seeking their assurances too much. It is possible, however, to implement care for others without overextending, but this is a mental discipline. Generally it is mothers who care the most, and this is mostly outside of their power to change. Family and lovers follow after that. But yes, I care if you are at risk of losing fingers. I saw an immigrant who had lost a finger on a job, and I have always regretted that happening to him.

They pay less. If you can get more pay then you take better pay. Therefore intelligent people tend to have the better jobs. This automatically separates people a little bit, yes; but its not because these are bad jobs. For example we do not look down upon janitorial work, however janitors tend to be less intelligent or less successful. They don't have flashy automobiles and can't host dinner parties. Its not that the jobs are socially devalued. They pay less.
Therefore, when the native citizen engages in such labor, he is considered an outcast, and people wonder why he can't do better. Immigrants are offered this work, and are then considered very socially successful in their own spheres, which I think matter a lot. When a native citizen, such as myself, works at a factory job or janitorial work that is not professional it represents to others that I am likely unable to work without supervision. If I take on a job where I am a manager or supervisor, then I gain esteem. If it pays more then I also can afford more social activities. With money I can choose what I will do, and this attracts people to me. It is no different for immigrants here as for natives. Immigrants here can become naturalized citizens and move to the most respected places in society.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
It makes me increasingly disgusted by the transparent hypocrisy of the more pathetic Trump sycophants.
What's really disgusting is the sheer blindness of the left wing as to how mind-numbingly malicious, and spiteful they actually are.

Biden just proved what this administration really thinks of the citizens of this country.

It makes you want to reconsider and redefine of what a party of hate looks like , and really is.
I agree with Biden when he says that the garbage out there is Trump supporters.
Biden just proved what this administration really thinks of the citizens of this country.
He told you what he thinks of MAGA. He respects decent America. I guess you didn't like that, and I guess that I understand why.

Now you know why the left wing is going to lose badly. Keep promoting the hatred because it's what the modern day Democrats stand for to which anybody who doesn't see and agree with the hive mind is clearly the enemy.

Just remember an active sitting president has called about half of this country citizens garbage. Let that sink in for a while as to the ramifications of that , for which we will find out in less than a week now what that statement has brought to the table as to the true nature of the modern day Democrat.
