California is a place. It can't "go" anywhere.

Never. We need to learn to respect and acknowledge to autonomy and sovereignty of other nations, and not come in, take over, and tell them how it's going to be. If we want their resources, we can ask like civilized, decent folk. When can the West begin colonizing again?
Why have we stopped colonizing when so many of our immigrant neighbors are leaving their lands and joining us. Is this not a sign that they need us to come govern them?
...Also, can we focus for a minute on how colonization can be a positive rather than a negative, and explore that possibility? I mean for both us and them... Not like it used to be... I mean a *new* kind of colonialism, one more modern and progressive.
China has claimed the Moon as a province since 377 BCE.NASA did plant an American flag on the moon. Nobody lives on the moon, but in hindsight it seems a little Spanish conquistador to go to a new land and plant your flag. "I claim this land for Spain!" Technically the moon now belongs to the US, since we put stuff there first; just as the Americas technically belong to Spain. We are all Spanish colonials, and whoever lives on the moon is American.
California isn't just an economy and universities. It's also very laid back there and people mind their own business, and they are used to getting breaks at work. In Indiana, on the other hand, people are uptight, nosy, concerned about your business (especially if it's against their religious dogma), they don't get many breaks at work (if any at all), and their street preachers are notorious for not accepting no for an answer.Californication of the Americas... Just imagine California coming to you, with renowned universities, and investors. Property values would rise, and the standard of life would increase if we were all united...

There aren't enough Nazis to make a new movie is the only... Err... problem...? with this proposal. Do we want Nazis to thwart at every turn and to get blown up by ancient artifacts?Think Indiana Jones. That's how cool it could be.

It would be wonderful though if the Californian mentality and attitudes did spread though. But many, especially in the MidWest and Bible Belt, aren't interested in it. They'd rather get up in your business and tell you what morally depraved and rehensible stuff you are guilty of, start public meetings with prayer, and damn anyone who objects.

They even sent us a bill to clean up our trash left behind
from vacations there.
Abide by the American law or of their own country?Well, all the states can have their hang-ups, as long as they abide by the law. No problem there... And we can all pick our favorite flavor.
I think we should just conquer the entire world. That would solve a lot of problems.
We can start with Canada. That should be easy enough, as we'll send in a bunch of troops disguised as American tourists. Then we'll move into Mexico, the Caribbean states, and Central America.
We'll just keep conquering until there are no more worlds left to conquer.
After all, for everyone in the world, there's an American deep down inside them, wanting to come out.
Everyone wants to be an American, and everyone can be an American. When America controls the whole world, everyone will be an American.
After that, we'll move out into space and create the American Star Empire, and Americanize the entire galaxy. Resistance is futile.

Maybe it's time for some leaders to relinquish their governments due to their inability to handle things them and become colonies.
Nope never going to happen. America is known for undermining the countries you already are in.The laws of America are based on freedom, liberty, equality and justice for all... These will be the laws of the land.
Right and can send our own police and military to put an end to things and every person there will become a bonafide American. It's a complete bipartisan win-win and you won't need a wall anymore.I mean, they're dying to get here, the logical next step is to just go to them and ask them if they want to be a part of this big juicy apple pie themselves... Then they can stay where they are, and we can go there and buy property for cheap.
...Seems like a win / win.
