When Will You Die?

"Truth" isn't a thing...

This is one of the saddest threads I've seen in ages. I begin to think that religion doesn't really provide the hope that it pretends to.

When will you die? Answer now or when...well, you know...if you can....
1. Longevity is inheritable.
2. The average life expectancy has doubled over the last 100 years.
3. I have ancestors (on both sides) who lived to 100 years.
C: I'll die around 2162. (If science hasn't found a way to avoid all this "dying" business.)

I was born when it was time to be born, and I shall die when it is time to die. If we are in peace with time and follow the order of things, neither sorrow nor joy will move us. The ancients called this ‘freedom from bondage’.

It’s not so much religion that provides comfort, as faith (which you may find in religion, or in a personal relationship with a God of your understanding). If you deny yourself that faith, how can you hope to understand it’s value?

I'll go when by body/brain gives up.

I'd tlike that to be in 30 to 40 years but really, I'm not choosy.

25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

So I will not die. My current body will cease to function at some time, but I won't.
It's pointless and unhealthy to speculate on when, IMO.
