Salam

I believe holding on to the name of God. The name of God is a living person among us and so is the light emanating from a living person among us. The Quran is found in that heart of that person and contains all his knowledge, and so the Quran is also the name of God.

The name is a title has chosen from his creation for a purpose. Titles as in words are all valid titles, and so the name is a metaphorical title he has chosen. It's his face and light emanating back to him and proving the absolute being as the source of blessings, greatness, and to the absolute being is the ascension towards.

Thus my whole religion can be summarized in the sentence "By the name of God..."

I don't. If someone asks what my religion is, I reply, "Hindu." No elaboration has been asked or offered. Typically, no one but me cares.

That has been my own experience so far. Whenever someone asks me what my religion is, I tell them that I am Hindu, and they don’t ask for any elaboration on Hinduism.

One time, during my first two or three weeks here in Korea, a woman asked me the question, I gave the answer, and then she said, ‘But... Hindus worship the cow!’ I might have said that some of us do. Then, she asked me what led me to become Hindu, and I answered her question. As of now, I assume that the average Korean knows as much about Hinduism as the average Westerner does.
