Dream Angel! How are you?

I stopped posting on RF (except for the LDS DIR) a month or so ago. I just got fed up with all the rude people. It used to be the fundamentalist, right-wing Christians telling us Mormons that we worshipped the wrong Jesus are were all going to hell. Eventually, that kind of verbal abuse seemed to let up, but lately the forum has become so overrun by atheists that a lot of the Christians (not just the LDS) have stopped posting. The forum has always been very liberal, which was fine with me, but it got to the point where there are simply no interesting topics left for Christians. It's wonderful to see you again. I'm glad you stopped by.
I've been surprised about this, too. When I was a kid I used to visit religion chat-rooms just to stir up some trouble and I don't remember ever hearing from an athiest. I haven't been here long, but I do feel a minority...though that doesn't bother me so much. Often those of mainstream religions did a lot of regurgitating without having done much thinking about what they say. Athiests sound intelligent because they take a position where there is no risk of being proven wrong. And that is the challenge they pose, isn't it. Prove me. Athiesm is categorized as a religion in its own right these days, but that is the fundamental difference. Faith, and the lack there of. The debate on what to believe is much different than the debate on whether to believe or not.
