My money's still on the Indian Ocean.

I have a question: That satellite received a "ping" from the aircraft up to an hour before it went down, placing its last known location somewhere along the arc. But what about prior pings? Or other satellites? If there was even one more satellite in the region that received pings, then the plane's location could be narrowed considerably.
