I've only got a bath. It would be unwise to stand in the tub to dry off, because you risk a slip/fall, and its a clawfoot tub next to a bay window. No one can see much inside, but I bet if you stood at the elevation of it tub right next to it, you'd potentially put on a show.

Baths tend to be quick affairs; I have to wait for the kids to be distracted, and I know that doesn't last long. If I'm lucky enough that there's a towel left for me, I wrap it around my hair and ignore my body. My body will air dry quickly, but my hair will drip down my back.

It's always a relief when I come into one of these debate threads and someone else has already made the argument that I was going to make. And you made it briefer than I would have. Thanks.

I guess I said the right thing.

Better than if I told @SalixIncendium that I dried off in his shower.

But then... if I dry off at home.... aren't I technically outside Salix's shower?

Oh, is that the shower Salix was referring to? I misunderstood. When he said "the shower," I thought he meant in an ultimate sense. Like the ideal shower that exists in the Platonic realm of forms.

As a materialist, the answer was fairly straightforward, but I didn't want to get into a lengthy metaphysical argument.

...I need to go to sleep, I'm sorry lmao

Are you going to sleep in the shower?

(I need to sleep, too.)

Yeah, this probably could have been placed in a discussion forum, but when I created the thread, I considered that there's always that one RFer that would go into a 15 minute long dissertation about why one is wrong and how their selection was was better than the other, so I opted to put it in a debate forum.

But we can always create a thread in a debate forum about whether or not shower dry-off threads belong in a debate forum...
