Where do you get your ebooks from?

I'm an Amazon lover. Have a couple Kindle Fires and intend to get a new one. I have a Prime subscription so get plenty of free stuff and am contemplating a Kindle Unlimited subscription as well. It is solely for books. $9.99 a month for unlimited access to tons of books. There is also an Amazon borrowing library. Yep, an Amazon addict.

They have electronic books now?! What next, portable phones or something? :p
I know that you still use that great big computer and CRT monitor, but if you can find your way out of that room you would probably find out that computers have changed too. Why, you can use a small flat tablet to get on the internet now. And yes, even portable phones. Oh! And no more annoying dial up sounds either! It's truly amazing. ;)

I've never quite come to terms with going digital, I miss having knobs to twiddle with. ;)

How well do they work reading in the dark while lounging in bed or a green leather chair?
It depends on the device. My Kindle 3, no. My Nook, yes.
I can't say I that fond of the Barnes & Noble store though. I typically use Amazon (my Nook is rooted and loaded with a CFW) and a few of the other sites already mentioned.
Amazon is a douche about it though, because if you read their TOS, you don't buy the books, you don't own them, you only lease them, and they do periodically for various reasons remove books from your device (assuming you haven't removed the DRM from the file).
