Ain't that the truth, NetDoc!

FromtheHeart--Yes, we are getting snow right now! I probably wouldn't mind it so much if I drove something like a Range Rover, but my poor little Honda feels like a jet-ski !....Which, addmittedly, is much fun in deserted parking lots!

Sunstone--Colorado is beautiful, and CSU is famous for their equestrian program. Hhhmmm...

Olmsted Falls, Ohio (suburb of Cleveland)

In the 70s, I lived for seven years in New York City (Midtown Manhattan).

Hands up for the Britons! I'm from a fairly large sea-side town about 30 minutes by train from London. It's cold, and grey right now here, but hasn't rained in a while...so I expect a storm any day now. The place is ok, probably has more arcades than the rest of the UK put together, though unfortunately because of the number of pubs and clubs there is a big problem of binge drinking and violence here. Somebody was murdered outside a nightclub here a couple of weeks ago. The closeness to London means I can go spend my time in Camden Market...my most favourite place in this area :) Southend girls are thought to be stupid, and being Essex doesn't really give us a great reputation. For those outside of the UK, an 'essex girl' is thought of as being bleach blonde and promiscuous...great isn't it! It even made the dictionary *roll eyes.*

Is there actually a volcano there or was it just a prop?

That movie was awesome. My favorite scene is when the Grandmother sacrifices herself for her grandchildren. Not because I love human sacrifice but because it was a true symbol of love to be sure that her grandchildren were safe. (Yes, I know this was off topic)

Yes, we really have a volcano here! Not really!!! They just made one for the movie, it's one of them in Washington or Oregon. It was a pretty good movie. But other than the volcano, everything was filmed here in my little town. The high school gym isn't used anymore either. We built a new school!

Are you familiar with the Current Outlet stores or headquarters?

That was one of the companies that my call center took calls for. Well, they still do but I quit mainly due to scheduling conflicts and I could not handle the stress anymore. (partially due to my depression)

Over my 25 years, we've moved 26 times, though, so I could count a number of places I have lived.

Ah, those 'Essex girls'!;)

I have a very good friend who is an 'Essex girl', and she dislikes the negative connotation as well. She related how 'Essex girls' dance at clubs---swinging their purses around, or something like that? Anyways, because she's blonde, she always gets grief! She's from Chelmsford.

Altamonte Springs is just north of Orlando Fl.
I lived in Winter Park Florida for 5 years. I loved The Altamonte Mall. I’d go to The Discovery Channel store to buy rock and mineral samples when they sold them. They had a store at the airport too. The Discovery Channel store here in Maryland sells junk. :areyoucra

Oh, I live in Frederick County Maryland. We have umm? Air and dirt. :jam:

Right now I live in Temple Terrace, Florida where I go to school. It's about 20 minutes from downtown Tampa. But my home is and forever will be good ol' Sacramento (well just east of Sacramento, Folsom to be exact.) I love that town.

We have lead, air, lead, lead, lead, and more lead...I think that we need to change our name to the Lead Valley instead of the Silver Valley. We're an old minning community and the EPA has shut down places and the mines have shut down. Oh, did I mention that we have lots of lead here?!
