I wouldn't even bother combating them.

OP:The most pertinent question therefore would be; where did Jewish Bible or Torah get the story of Adam and Eve from?
Where from it copied?
No not copied, PLAGIARIZED.
The scientific "Adam" and "Eve" are the tracing of a genetic lineage to one individual. That individual did not live alone.
OK. If you don't like the word copied from for Torah; we change it with the word PLAGIARIZED, if that suit you well.
I understand that. What I am questioning that if there was a scientific "Adam" then would the woman he reproduced with be the "Eve" and not some other female? Of course, my question is moot since I believe in the symbolism of a lot of the stories of Genesis.
I believe these stories might have started in the same place and as people migrated the stories went them: "Branched out", so to speak. And they probably had some minor or even major changes. I've heard more than one type of "Adam and Eve" story and while they are similar, they are not the same.
I'm not sure why they keep calling the last male-line common ancestor "Y chromosomal Adam", when the proper Biblical analogy would be Noah, not Adam.
I don't get you exactly. Please elaborate.
How come Noah is the first common ancestor ?
Why not Adam? Please

The Genesis creation myths are most likely Sumerian in origin, being that they very closely parallel Sumerian creation myth stories.
OP adequately answered. Next topic please.
You're welcome.
May be the source of Egyptians and Sumerians for the story of Adam was another common source.
Anybody who has probed into it? Please.

Uh, giant flood that killed everyone? One family remaining?
Pretty sure that's the same myth that's in Islam.
We are discussing here Torah and its sources.
OP is using a double standard.
Applies what he can against the bible, but changes it when it applies to his religion.
Since Mesopotamian influeneces go against his owm books mythology, he posted some garbage to promot his own belief.
Mesopotamian ancient writings
Oh, I see. He's using fallacious arguments by moving the goal posts.
The goal posts are still in the original position.
I don't get you exactly. Please elaborate.

Not first common ancestor - last common ancestor.
According to the story, the Ark contained Noah, Noah's wife, their sons, and the sons' wives. The mitochondrial DNA of their descendants would be varied (since it's passed down from the mother, and the women on the Ark all had different mothers)), but the Y chromosomes of the descendants would all be from Noah (since it's passed down from father to son, and Noah and his sons were the only men on the Ark).
If the flood story was true, everyone alive today could trace their male ancestral line back to Noah.
There was no one Adam; there were several Adams in different regions of the world having no contacts with one another due to lack of the means of communications.
Every one of them who among his people was first to receive Converse from G-d was Adam for his people. Converse of God was the epoch making event for an Adam among his people and was the reference point.
Noah's flood was local; not universal.
