I don't follow. "Cells" as such were not a thing - to the best of our knowledge - when the Earth was forming. Life - cells - did not arise on Earth until long after it had formed.

Not that long...as I recall it was the very next day...it was probably on the late evening news the same day - the day starting at sunset in those days it would have just missed the early evening edition.

I don't find it to be a good practice to make assumptions. Besides, I can guarantee after paying $250 for a car key recently, compared to less than $1 when I first started driving, that car keys have most certainly evolved.
