Where would you choose to be born?

I get to reincarnate?

Ok. Please take my order carefully.

I'd like to be born into a very rich (and liberal) family
on a beautiful estate probably somewhere in America
that is neither too conservative, religious or cold.
Beyond that, I'd love my new family to already have connections
in the music business,
and all the equipment
I could ever want or need to use.

Thank you.

Weeellll, yanno, there are those who believe that we set the conditions for our next rebirth by not only how well we accomplish the spiritual lessons we chose for this lifetime but also by choosing the family situation we'll be born into. There are other factors involved, of course, but those are the primary ones for many New Age believers in reincarnation, as you may already know.

"Be careful what you wish for." :D

Doesn't hurt, seems to me, to put in place the preliminaries for a musical career in that future lifetime by playing instruments or singing with focused intent in this one. Ya never know...

I think I'd choose to be born into the situation that will best enable me to progress spiritually without the various sidetracks I sometimes feel I've trotted off onto in this lifetime.

But then, I've been advised by various means that I chose this lifetime to pull together influences from many past lives and to integrate them before choosing a more focused lifetime again. Hmmmm...seems to fit but probably because I want a good excuse for buying and reading LOTS of books. < sassy grin >

And this quite likely does not fit in the least the intent of the question "where" asked by the OP...

I've got enough musicianship for 10 reincarnations.
Sadly I haven't got the money even to replace my washing machine,
(currently washing laundry for 4 in a tub by hand)
and hardly enough for the mortgage each month.
Nevermind the musical equipment I need.

Not really complaining. Just saying.
Trying to change my economic reality now,
not waiting for any future lives.

Just put my order in for fun. :flirt:

That does sound appealing. I'd like that too if I had any musical talent :p

for me ? England is just fine thank you.

I guess England isn't too bad. It's not perfect but at least I have my rights :D

How.... deep :D. Seems you have your priorities set. Do you know of any countries where you could get this spiritual progression without distraction? Maybe some sort of temple in the far east?

Friend Westy,

Well leave it to them to decide as personally does not make any difference as to who choose me!

LOL...well, I wouldn't say I have my priorities set since I could decide that my current beliefs are hogwash before I shuffle off to find out if there's even an afterlife. That's what's so pleasant about one's beliefs--that they're as changeable as the weather. :)

Finding a country without distraction wouldn't really be necessary. I might choose to be a person of limited intelligence who works at a humble occupation, for example. Where that was wouldn't matter particularly. Or I could choose a lifetime as a wealthy person and determine to live quite modestly, using my means charitably. Lots more options for that "focused life with fewer distractions" than you might think.

"Talent" is the most useful, and can take you anywhere, and offer you anything you could wish for.

You find truly talented people rise to the top of their field anywhere.

I wish I had been born in India, so I could have become a Sadhu. Here in the US anybody following a life path similar to a sadhu would just be considered a bum or hobo and looked down upon.

Arrakis, the Judean desert, the Sahara. I am not that far off, and I am going to spend the next couple of days trekking the Negev desert. as for why? Because I am a desert creature.

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
I would choose to be born in the United States, in New Orleans - which is exactly what happened to me, by the way!

But - my second choice would be the southern Bavaria area of Germany, near the Swiss border. It's absolutely breathtakingly beautiful, clean, affluent, and I could get to Switzerland really fast if the Germans got a wild hair like they tend to do every so often.

I was born in the city of Ankara in Turkey but I'd prefer to born in the city of Isparta in Turkey because it's the 4th holy city in the world.
