Which Art(s) Do You Practice and/or Most Enjoy?

Yes I think you could, there's lots of books that show you how, also on you-tube there is some real good stuff. Yes you have the spark in you, you only need now to be on fire, and I'm sure you will do anything you want.:)

Yeah. Thank you. It's my niche. I was thinking how to compile everything. You should see all the half arts, spontaneous poems, and half forgotten stories scenes I have laying around.

Have you thought of doing something with your art? Even just donating it to different organizations that help people with schizophrenia and like conditions?

I have donated a couple, one was mother Teresa, the other was another saint which I can't remember, there in the hallway of a catholic retirement home. Yes I was the same, I had projects all over the place never finished, I didn't have the confidence back then, even now I am never truly happy with whatever I paint, I'm my own worse critic lol.

Join the club! My therapist is helping me by therapeutic art. He stared at me and said, "you critic yourself a lot, don't you?"

I was flipping through pages trying to show him the last emotional drawing I had, saying in my head: "wait, I should have put this here. No, that could have been there."

"I guess," I told him.

He had that "mhm" face. "Okay, okay" I said, "I do. Now what?"

Oh. Yeah, what you can do also is to just donate once a edit-once a year, rather-maybe Christmas. I live in a independent senior/disability apartment community. A lot of churches come and donate puzzles, pictures, and assorted flowers. Maybe take that up again.

Very good, the eye's look so real. I myself love portrait oil painting, writing songs and I had a book published. My favort artist is Salvador Dali, and Munch who painted the Scream. Below is one of my oils.

Ha! It's been DECADES since I pulled out the old "erotic etchings" ploy...:p

Haven't done much of anything in quite awhile. I do take photographs, some of them turn out well, but haven't up to making them displayable since the headache, etc. began. Can't concentrate, can't remember, can't keep at it...

I also have drawn, played guitar, written poetry--mostly it isn't that good, but I did make a chapbook of poetry and doodles awhile back...some people seemed to like it...

Which art(s) do you practice and/or most enjoy?

Music: I have played the drums for 30 years. I am also a lyricist.

Poetry: I write various styles of poetry that tend to center around life/death cycles as well as nature. I love wolves and consider them my spirit animal.

Novels: I also write SciFi novels as well as medieval fantasy/fiction the likes of DragonLance. I am publishing a theology work that centers on Christian Deism.

Art: I draw medieval knights, dragons, castles and oddly enough AD&D dungeons for my pen/paper group!

Dance: I do the horizontal shuffle in bed with my wife. :D

Great job.

Most of my education is in art/design, although I don't do it as often anymore.

Some oil paintings (have switched to acrylic now though):

A few guitars I made a couple years back:

And a metalsmithing project from high school:

Music, drawing (primarily graphite, ink pens, and colored pencils), and writing. I'm also getting back into macrame, and will probably also do other forms of jewelry that don't require much in terms of equipment. And I'd love to do ceramics again, and haven't done that since high school.
