I'm interested to know more about the demographics of the RF membership. The forum has a diverse community, so I think it's about time we had a poll like this one.

The poll is about place of origin, not residence. So if you are, say, an African living in Asia, your answer to this poll should be Africa.

I thought of that and decided against it. Some of us have privacy concerns about mentioning too much detail, so keeping it to a minimum could allow more members to answer (since no poll could cover all countries, which would force members to publicly mention their location).

I also thought it would be nice to have a poll with all countries, but indeed it's not easy to accomplish this in a poll. Maybe I'll make such a poll, but can't be anonymous

Well, it seems Asians have not yet waken up to your poll.

They are 5 hours ahead of us in Europe. Here it's 14:00 (there ca. 19:00), and still ver few answered the poll. Maybe there aren't that many
