Great question!
I would say religious, because I'm always finding new ways of expressing my belief and devotion to God. I have two tattoos to reflect my belief in God, an infinity tattoo and a wedding ring tattoo on my wrist and left-hand accordingly, and my theology, unless unmedicated, will always be more than agnosticism or atheism. In fact, I just finally realized with the help of this forum and Chat GPT that I'm more in the realm of panentheism and God being synonymous with reality. Before I separated them into panendeism and syntheism, but then realized that panentheism can effectively be both.
I would argue though, that my opinions don't really change, they just become more elaborate than they used to be in the past. If you asked me several years ago what I believe God is, I'd probably throw a lot of words around that you might not understand, but now I just say God is reality. Simple, effective, everybody knows a slice, a piece of reality. As far as my political views go, when Trump became a politician I became a Never-Trumper and indeed voted for the Libertarians for President, but that change only happened because the political landscape changed. I also voted for John McCain for President too, and I still think he was a respectful gentleman who was honored by both the right and the left.
So, in conclusion, I would argue that my view points haven't changed at all, really, but rather my interpretations and information that has been brought to me has made me realize more of who I am now than who I understood myself to be in the past. I am still in my 30s and still discovering the person I am and the person I also want to be for the rest of my life. No doubt both my political and religious views will become more elaborate over time, and I will discover parts of myself I wish I knew when I was younger.
But overall I would say in the past few years my religious views have become even more elaborate than my political views have become. Believing in trinitarian pantheism, the ten divine attributes, Kardashev's Scale in a spiritual way, syntheism, Earthseed and that God is reality itself is more elaborate than pretty much only one word I would use to describe my political beliefs: centrist. In fact, if anything, I have distanced myself from elaborate political views because of how toxic politics has become lately. Overall I do lean right and I do typically vote Republican, but I also am in the "Never Trump" crowd due to his arrogance and self-righteous attitude. I've never liked Trump, though, even when he wasn't a politician.
