Which Masjid?

Salaam all,
Having recently reverted,18 months ago, I am confused as to all the different Mosques in my neighbourhood. I made Shahada at a Masjid which according to Mosque directory is Salafi, I went here as Khutba is in English. Looking a little nearer home I find Deobandi and Sufi. I don`t know if any of these cater for English speakers,can soon find out, but that aside I am confused as to which to attend when I can. Happy where I went initially but confused. Sometimes think this is all very complicated. Appreciate any comments/advice.

Welcome to Islam! : ) may Allah guide you towards what's best for you.

Salafis,suffis and deobandis are ahlus sunnah (sunnis)so in regards to prayer it doesn't really matter at which mosque you pray.

Personally I would advise you to keep it simple. Do not busy yourself with sects because each will say they are correct..this can be quite confusing for a new muslim. Focus on learning the foundations
Ask God sincerely to guide you towards what's best for you and Godwilling He will. : )

Go to the one you feel most comfortable in, but stick to one masjid.
In my city there's only one masjid so I don't have issues like these, but I'd (in your situation) go to Salafi one only because Shahada was made there. My advice to you would be to not bother much with the labels & focus on the Qur'an and living your life as a (true) Muslim should.

Some very good responses here and like everyone has said, just go to any mosque you feel comfortable with and keep on the path of Islam. Don't worry about sects and so on so much.

Welcome to Islam brother and congratulations. Like what the other brothers and sisters said before me, just get to learn the foundations of Islam then pray in the nearest mosque which you feel comfortable praying at who pray the way you have learnt.
