A special shout out for @Shadow Wolf.

If not for FF7 we would have absolutely nothing in common. But she has taught me that even when you vehemently disagree with someone that you can still be civil. She is good at that even when she is wrong, or right, it doesn't really matter she is just good at that. :D

I haven't been here that long so far but:

@1137 For getting me really interested in Setianism and got me buying several books on it
@Buddha Dharma For widening my perspective on several topics and being an awesome forum personality
@Jainarayan and @Terese both for their very informative posts on Hinduism (a big interest and influence on me at the moment)
@Sunstone For the humor and prodigious variety of thought-provoking posts
@Revoltingest For the personality, humor and wall posts :p

I know I'm still missing a few people but..........I'll get back

@Tumah for letting slip some of the mysteries of the Jews
@LegionOnomaMoi who was ludicrously erudite although I often learned I didn't know enough to understand his posts
@Sunstone For random eclectic stuff. Also the scientific theory that if you make a post on every topic in the world, everybody must benefit in some way.
@Laika for everything about the commies
@lovemuffin for some wonderful posts on early Eastern Christianity

Lots of others too, basically anyone I've ever given an 'informative' rating to and probably a fair proportion of those I've given 'likes' to as I'm often too lazy to differentiate. Thank you all :clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping:

I've learned tons about Catholic mysticism from Vouthon. He's got a superb grasp of the material.

Buddha Dharma

Dharma Practitioner
I appreciate those of you that said you learn things from me, but I am reluctant to accept the praise since I'm still learning. :oops:

I've learned a great deal from...

@Sunstone (the best threads. Period. amazing, crazy, wonderful mind and very funny).
@Windwalker (incredible knowledge of mysticism. The best on the forum I think.)
@Terese (the go-to person for Vaishnavism, also really knowledgeable about Hinduism more generally, and also such a sweet, lovely person. She's a delight to chat with)
@metis (incredible commonsense, down-to-earth wisdom. Great guy).
@Buddha Dharma (impeccable knowledge of Buddhism, even though he doesn't seem to realize how knowledgeable he is (which is endearing) and really fun to have a discussion with).
@Orbit (vast knowledge of mysticism, enjoy posts a lot)
@columbus (very well-informed about all matters Catholic)
@Polymath257 (he's a genius. Nuff said. The go-to person on Quantum Mechanics).
@Aupmanyav (my god, he is a scholar of Hinduism, right? Incredible).
@crossfire (really knowledgeable about Buddhism and mysticism more generally. Have immensely enjoyed interfaith discussions with this poster. Crossfire finds great comparisons between Buddhism and Christianity that simply had never occurred to me before).
@von bek (intelligent, especially learned about Buddhism)
@SalixIncendium (another poster with great insight into mysticism and all round good knowledge of a range of things)
@Revoltingest (he's hilarious and easily the wittiest poster on RF, and the go-to person on Libertarianism.)
@Katzpur (the go-to person for anything to do with Mormonism. Also, just a lovely person)
@Carlita (another poster with great knowledge of Catholicism)
@Srivijaya (very knowledgeable about Buddhism and Eastern Christian mysticism. Brilliant for interfaith discussions)
@lewisnotmiller (he's really smart. And writes well-written posts. About practically anything)
@idav (another poster with great knowledge of mysticism)
@4consideration (all round informative posts)
@StarryNightshade (lovely guy and has had an incredible journey through different religious belief systems. I believe he's a Jew now. He is really well informed about comparative religion and Judaism is lucky to have him)
@Shiranui117 (the go-to person for Eastern Orthodoxy)
@Laika (a fellow political leftie, the go-to person for all things Communist)
@Quintessence (the go-to person for all matters pagan, so wise)
@sayak83 (mathematics, physics and Hinduism. Incredibly smart)
@PopeADope (Catholicism and funny)
@Brickjectivity (New Testament scholarship, I love discussing it with this poster)

And a good many others! (I'm adding as I remember the usernames) I keep going back to my list because there are so many brilliant posters on this forum. I know I've missed some great people, which is really annoying...sorry if I missed anybody.

I'm slowly filling in details now too about what I've learned from different posters.

I've been hesitant to post here for fear of leaving anyone out. So in no particular order.

@sayak83 - Hindu scripture and practice, mathematics, and science
@Sunstone - Mysticism and philosophy
@Polymath257 - Math, science, and Humanistic values
@Aupmanyav - Atheistic Hinduism/Advaita Vedanta
@ajay0 - Advaita Vedanta
@Windwalker - Mysticism
@Vouthon - Catholic Mysticism
@Jayhawker Soule - Jewish views and philosophy as they relate to the beliefs of others. Also, yawning and ignoring.
@Revoltingest - How to increase post count and frubals through the profile post system. :p

I'm certain there are more, and I will post them as they come to mind.

Actually, profile posts don't add to post count.
With no numerical compensation, they're done for pure enjoyment.

...and getting more frubals for thanking people for frubals. ;)
That happens on occasion.
(Have to get them somewhere.)

Recently I began reducing the number of thank you posts by including more in existing posts.
It'll lower my frubal frequency, but it reduces annoying alerts to recipients.

Without referencing anyone in particular, I will say this:

There are few sites I could visit where I would see, in one place...

... a debate on gun control

... a discussion about different kinds of calendars

... a refutation of the cosmological argument for the existence of God

... a list of favorite alcoholc concoctions.

And that's just today!

I'm learning quite a bit here, and enjoying every minute of it.

No, my frubals are pure mostly.
I will give you another though. I hope you know that all of the frubals I have given you reflect some of the most abject and depraved frubals known to man. That they are kept in close proximity to your other frubals means they have not only contaminated your other frubals, but they have had their way (with consent, of course) with your other frubals multiple times.
