Courtney W. Mallery and his wife Nicole own the Freedom Acres Ranch, a 1,000-acre plot of land with a range of goats, pigs, chickens and every good thing a farm should have. Then, in 2020, they began waking up to beheaded, butchered and missing animals. Graphic images shared with Ark Republic showed baby goats that were allegedly poisoned and a cow with its insides spilling on the ground.

Frequently, they must replace surveillance equipment after they see strangers pointing a device towards their cameras which ends up jamming them and taking out the signal. Plus, their electricity lines have been cut and neighbors have stolen well water by running an illegal line from their source.

One day, Courtney was chased by a white man when repairing a portion of his fence. The aggressor, who was in a car, gunned for Courtney who made it to his vehicle in just enough time to dash away in a hellish pursuit. Once he made it to the end of his property, the man steered the other way.

One evening, Nicole was followed by a white woman who almost ran her car off the road then put on high beams and pulled out what looked like a gun. The confrontation was exceptionally unnerving because Nicole was returning from a church function with her visiting nieces and nephew.

Mr. Mallery told Ark Republic this is all a ploy to take his land, which El Paso County Sheriff Emory Gerhart allegedly condoned...

Meh, sounds like it's probably a hoax/lie. There's been many fake "hate crimes", like Jussie Smollett. The Root isn't an unbiased source, either. It's a far-left race baiting blog, basically. It's like getting your news on race relations from Al Sharpton (who has also participated in hoax "hate crimes").

But my eyes roll at the automatic presumptions.

At this point, it seems it's only really being addressed as a possibility, but there's really not enough information presented here to either confirm or deny that there's any racial motivation.

However, I've noticed that, in the past few years, there's a certain palpable "tension" in the air.

Of course, we all know about the history of racism in America, though in recent times, the cultural paradigm has shifted more towards anti-racism (albeit somewhat awkward and imperfect at times), while racism and other such right-wing view have been treated as something analogous to a "crazy uncle living in the attic." But it seems the crazy uncle has escaped the attic and is out and about. Hate crimes have been on the rise. Something strange is going on.

That doesn't prove or disprove anything about this particular case in the OP, but with various other events going on, along with a lot of loud talk from certain quarters (I caught part of Lauren Boebert's tirade against former Twitter executives earlier today), I don't think we can rule anything out at this point.

A history of neighbors vandalizing property and mutilating livestock adds more to this than a run of the mill cop story or abusive employers. And with a history of that going when something does happen and it's those having property vandalized and inventory destroyed being arrested for harassing people, yeah thats classic American Negrophobia. Gotta put them uppity negroes in their place, after all.

Anyway, just a cursory overview:

1) I am skeptical of the source.

2) I am skeptical of the story itself.

3) I am skeptical of the people involved.

4) I am skeptical period. The only arrests made were made recently - the African American couple was arrested. All restraining orders they have filed have been dismissed repeatedly. The only evidence of crimes on file has been of crimes committed by the Mallerys.

Interesting stats on El Paso County, Colorado by the way:

I did the math. If the above information is correct, the county is nearly 1/1 Red Team vs Blue Team.

The state itself is definitely Blue Team dominated.

in school by cops. He said that would never happen
to a white child. Of course, I immediately posted a

I don't see a media conspiracy. But they sense what
kind of coverage grabs the most attention. Advertisers
pay for eyeballs, which explains the focus on what's

Well, there are different ways of presenting the events of the day, with different approaches and terms. They don't have to mention race at all. They could just say "Cops shoot U.S. citizen" or "Americans attack their fellow Americans," and it would be just as accurate as any other way of presenting it.

If they did present it that way, then that might promote greater solidarity and unity among the working classes, regardless of race, creed, or color. The citizenry as a whole might band together and confront the cops and the political leadership and demand change. By changing the focus from "cop vs. citizen" into "black vs. white," it has the effect of dividing the masses, which serves the interests of the ruling class.

As I said, with this set up if it's a hand of poker the correct play is shoving all in.
Read some history. Negrophobes in America have long used violence, intimidation, vandalism, and the police against black people to get them to leave. Sometimes they'd even put a sign in front of town warning black people to not let the sun set on them in that town, and the mentality is still alive in many towns today even if the signs have been taken down.
