I'd support Christine IF he treated her not well
#MeToo
First, Gabriel certainly does not have my support because what he did was deceptive.
#MeToo, except if he is omniscient (knew it) AND has treated her very well
Marriage is not the institution for deception, especially that sort of deception
Definitely it "should" not be such an institution,

Sadly it is such an institution nowadays
Second, I don't know Christine's reason for wanting to divorce Gabriel. Nonetheless, if Christine had to endure any kind of abuse from Gabriel, she would have my support because it would be obvious why she wanted to divorce him.
As I said above... #MeToo
Though
If she had no good reason I would not support her

He looks young... 32?

You got me confused for a moment...She married a 32 year old

But I got it now

If he would have asked you, would you have said yes?

He is a very charismatic man.
I do understand Deputee Fascina.

Ps. Sorry ...my mistake. I corrected it.

He is a very charismatic man.
From his face alone, he seems very nice to me

I do understand Deputee Fascina.
I can understand she likes him
And probably they will manage w/o "divorce"
Though for me around +7 would be the limit
(Unless the other outlives me then I would add +X)
(hypothetical, as I decided to never marry at age 10)

Ps. Sorry ...my mistake. I corrected it.
:handok:
Reads much better now. I really thought he was much younger (40-50), so 32 almost made sense:)

It's just an odd thing to me that he divorced her without letting her know, he clearly didn't think things were going to work out in the long term. I suppose I could have voted that I support Christine but I don't know what made her decide to divorce him - before I voted I presumed it was implied by the video that she was a gold-digger.

What confuses me is why is there such a law that 1/2 of the partner's money would become their's in a divorce? I suppose I could understand it in a joint bank account, but how could they reap those benefits if they're already divorce by law?

Outa here... bye-bye!
If the couple lived like a married couple it should be considered a common law marriage. Especially if one party believed they were legally married.

I think that is correct legally, but I am not a lawyer. But either that is how the law works, or that should be how the law works.

Depends on the state, in the US there's only like 10 states that have this.
