Do you mind if I ask what your avatar is? I've looked at it and looked at it some more and I can't make out what it is. Is that the point, perhaps?
Sure. It's a close-up of a rhododendron bloom. The pattern of water droplets of the back of the central petal looks a little like a face; we call it our rhodo-faery (as the rest of the petal looks kind of like the shoulders and body, and stamens look kind of like extended arms. In a distorted, fairy-like way.
