We still have about an hour and 15 minutes to go and we're doing our usual "stay at home and out of the way of drunk drivers" new year's eve.Sunstone said:Did you party New Year's Eve? Where did you party? Did you do anything you now regret? What was it? Do you have a hangover?
Haha! That's what I was going to say...I'm half Irish, half Apache. I do not get hangoversCeridwen018 said:Muahaha--victory is mine once again! I'm half gypsy, half Irish--I'm a drinking machine, if you will. I don't get hangovers!
Lucky! All I need for a hangover is a little tiny bit too much wine and WHAM! Massive hangover the next day! Wine's the worse for me. For some mysterious reason, it seems like beer seldom gives me a hangover.Ceridwen018 said:Muahaha--victory is mine once again! I'm half gypsy, half Irish--I'm a drinking machine, if you will. Gail and I attend, with Grams of ReligiousForums, a Lighthouse Cafe held at Gram's church. It was an evening of religious songs performed by exceptional voices and a mix of styles. Hymns with a classical voice, blue grass, and a bit of folk - as well as "new gospel" music. I'm here to tell you - the music was NOT hazardous to an Atheist's health but very enjoyable. Plenty of "pot luck" food and deserts!!!!!! Yummmmm, yummmmmm.Sunstone said:Did you party New Year's Eve? Where did you party? Did you do anything you now regret? What was it? Do you have a hangover?

I dunno, I've had some pretty rotten hangovers on vodka...and back when I was a gin drinker... *shudder*NetDoc said:The clearer the liquor, the less apparent the hangover. It's the ketones (or whatever) in the colored spirits that give you the headache the next day.
