Who has seen the last Harry Potter movie?

I saw the last HP movie. I haven't been to a movie theater in a long while, but I went to see this one. I've never read the books, but I've seen all 8 movies, and I like them in general. Maybe because I haven't read the books, I like the movies more than people who read the books and aren't happy with the film adaptations.

I already knew the plot of the film. I think they could have focused a bit more on individual battles, a lot more on Snape (but then again, I'm an Alan Rickman fangirl so maybe I'm biased), and I think the climax could have been a bit smoother. I read the climax in the book, and I think it was elegantly written, but it was a bit too movie-ish in the movie, if that makes sense.

I think my favorite part was when all of the Death Eaters were spending so much time trying to bring down the Hogwart's shield, and Voldemort just stepped up and brought it down himself with the Elder Wand.

I enjoy moments like that in a story when the primary antagonist shows why he's the primary antagonist. Great special effects, too.

Yeah i saw it too, enjoyed it to be fair. Delivered pretty much what i wanted. The films have definitely been getting darker from beginning to end. Check out the Warner Bros. logo for each film. :p
I think it was smart of the author to make the movies darker as they go. They remain suitable for the same audience as the audience grows up. I liked the movie Sorcerer's Stone when it came out, but I would hate it now. In Harry Potter 7, they're confronting some serious evil and death, while in Harry Potter 1, they're going on interesting adventures.

I love the image of the logos. That sums up the shift perfectly.

As someone who read the books and got seriously involved in the story for so many years, I also agree that they should have focused more on Snape. His story/character is one of the most involved in the entire series.

True, so true.
And AR is a brilliant actor, he deserved more scenes.
