I have a policy....Dad has a dairy farm, cow excrement and aluminium trailers don't mix, for that matter neither do wooden or steel trailers

No cow, chicken, turkey, or pig excrement in Mr Van or Mr Trailer (either).
I'd never have a trailer made of cats.Well that could explain your lack of rotting aluminium.

It wasn't the heater, it was the acceleration system. The spring wasn't strong enough to pull the part that turned, I could accelerate but not decelerate. We sold in in the spring, after 2 years.The bus is known for its underdimensioned heating. I had the pick-up (single cabin) and for that little space the heating was more than adequate.

Different ends, but similar idea. My car has been a cafe/office/meeting place/record storage/supply bin at once and has served many roles throughout my driving life. A personal sanctuary being the most common.I saw this story in the news....
