Jehovah our God is One
I have decided to be anti-nationalistic, or more specifically anti-jingoistic... it does not make sense for a Christian to also believe in nationalism, although he may be a good citizen. The only nation a Christian should be worried about is building Zion.
i'd take it a step further. We have to remember that we are following Christ. What did he say about his kingdom?
My kingdom is no part of this world. If my kingdom were part of this world, my attendants would have fought that I should not be delivered up to the Jews. But, as it is, my kingdom is not from this source. John 18:36
If the kingdom Christ spoke of is no part of our world, where is it from? He pretty much told us that the kingdom wasnt going to be in Zion when he preached saying:
Matthew 4:17 Jesus commenced preaching and saying: Repent, you people, for the kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.
If you follow the Christ, you are a subject of a 'heavenly kingdom'... not an earthly one. This is why nationalism is pointless for christians... we are subjects of a kingdom who's representative is located in heaven.... we need to look higher then the governments of this world.
Eventually, the heavenly kingdom will be the only kingdom standing...
Daniel 2:44 And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite"
