Renaldo said:So what are you saying here? That we are all illusions, that the world is an illusion?
That we never existed?
Riven I would like to hear some more on your theories. Although I may not
agree with them, I do tend find them intriguing...a little.
Alright riven, if we built this world, what built us?
God built us, and he created us as perfect, holy, loving extensions of Himself. And, since God is changeless, and we are part of Him, we are changeless. So, we are still perfect, holy, loving extensions of God. Our true Selves are perfectly peaceful and joyous, at home in God's Kingdom.Renaldo said:So what are you saying here? Very Matrix-like, I agree. However, not based on the Matrix. Several huge differences.ThisShouldMakeSense said:I think this might have something to do with the matrix...
Is this your belief or mere fact? If the latter, please expand.Riven said:Our true Selves are perfectly peaceful and joyous, at home in God's Kingdom.
Truth doesn't require belief in order to be truth. Thruth simply IS true, no matter what you believe.Renaldo said:What if one does not believe in God? Is he still perfect; still joyous? If he
does not believe in God, how would this apply?
The ego is subject to an enormous amount of variability. The illusory world our egos have created is fickle, chaotic, and senseless. In this world, change is not only possible, but it is a necessary part of maintaining the illusion. The true reality is changeless. It - and we - have always been, are now, and will always be exactly as God created us.Renaldo said:Changeless? A man can often change his ways. Let's take for example a drunken, abusive, drug addicted unemployed male. He cleans himself up a little, gives up the booze and drugs, and at the same time, becomes a well respected Christian. Is that not change?

This world is an illusion, made by the ego.

So you say the Lord of Hosts lies!
Most people throw it into the New Age category.ThisShouldMakeSense said:Hi RIVEN,
