Who is making money from the border crisis?

Who’s Making Money From the Border Crisis? Private Prisons

“The Trump administration’s decision to vastly increase the number of immigrants held in prisons has proven controversial. It’s also big business.”

“CoreCivic and GEO Group, earned more than $4 billion in 2017. Both have spent millions of dollars on lobbyists and campaign contributions”

This is why this problem is so difficult to solve. For these people it isn’t a problem. It is fantastic, a cash cow. They don’t ever want it to stop. The more people who come in, the more that get locked up, the longer they get locked up the more money they make. The horrible conditions and the human suffering is just good business.
Good to know our 'prisons' are so good, the illegals keep running toward them.

That’s why nothing is ever done, outside of crap oozing from mouths on all parties for how many years now acting as if they care. To redirect and divide up the mindless common people.

Would we even want to know what goes on to some inside beyond closed doors?
I think it's a huge orgy of sex and debauchery.

Whichever word you like better is fine with me. It should not exist.
It's a social psychopathology. When we do not recognize and face the consequences of our greed as individuals, it festers like a disease, collectively, and manifests in this kind of horrible, collectively destructive, fascist plutocracy. And so long as we keep ignoring it within ourselves, we will keep accepting it from "on high".

Perhaps you're thinking of Gordon Gekko.
Here he is, the king of liars, spewing the big capitalist lie, from his own mouth ...

... And many right here on RF still believe his lies, and repeat them over and over and over like some sort of satanic mantra.

If you can't take a little jibe about your mother's promiscuity then it is you who needs the therapy, Oedipus

I'd already seen that interview.
Your quote doesn't exist.

I like the part where you can price gouge American tax payers for capitalistic reasons. Guess which party gives away all these freebies we have to pay for?

Your quote doesn't exist.
So that's you argument? A semantic lawyer trick? "Your honor, he never said, "I'll kill you, *****!" as the witness testified, he said, "I'm gong to kill you, ugly *****!". ... So I move for an acquittal!

Way to take the high road, dude.

You put the words within quotation marks.
But the quote does not exist.
By greatly altering what he said, you change the meaning.
It's not about semantics, but rather accuracy & honesty.

I expect better from Popeye.

We can open a history book to see the failures of competing ideas.
