Who is the great prostitute in Revelation 17?

ben d - according to Scripture ' the end of suffering ' happens on earth with the happy ending of Revelation 22:2 when earth's nations will be healed during Jesus' millennium-long day of governing over earth.
Jesus will fulfill God's promise to father Abraham - Genesis 12:3; Genesis 22:18
I think Revelation 22:2 pertains to Heaven, not Earth...but even if one interprets it to mean the millennial period....it will not be the end of suffering as Jesus will rule with an iron hand and the Dragon will be once again at the end of the period to corrupt those who do not love God,The messiah has always been the promise of the peoples and nations of earth.....for mankind of themselves, are incapable of living a sinless life, so our redemption can only occur through some dispensational act of God, for those that love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength...

ben d - I have heard that others also think Revelation 22:2 pertains to heaven, but there is No sickness in heaven.
There would be No need to heal earth's nations in heaven. Earth's nations are located on earth.
No one goes to heaven to be sick in heaven or die in heaven. Sickness and death are earthly problems - Isaiah 33:24 B
So, the end of enemy death - 1 Corinthians 15:26 - means an end to death on earth - Revelation 21:4-5; Isaiah 25:8
Yes, that end to sickness and death happens to mean the millennial period because Jesus will have mankind reach sinlessness.
Yes, Satan will be released for a short time at the end of Jesus' millennium-long day of governing over earth.
- Revelation 20:7-9 - and Notice the end of rebellious ones comes hard and swift.
No return of sickness on earth, but there will be destruction for those corrupted wicked ones on earth - Psalms 92:7
Once that action is done by Jesus, then Jesus hands back God's kingdom government to God - 1 Corinthians 15:24

Revelation 22:10 refers to Heaven in a metaphorical sense as a paradise as words can not be used to describe Heaven in reality, The same applies to 1 Corinthians 15:25 , Revelation 21:4-5 , Isaiah 25:8 , it is all metaphorical language for a spiritual existence beyond the time space reality of this world. There is spirit and physical, life and death, heaven and earth, good and evil.....these complementary opposite concepts are meant to represent the polarity present wrt the destiny of souls. Heaven is spiritual, Earth is material, to imagine the reality of Heaven on Earth is a grave error. If you are a JW, I understand where you are coming from and will leave you to your beliefs, but I can assure you it is an erroneous interpretation of scripture.

The Pagan Rome. The Rome founded on money-hunger greed, slavery, selfishness and disorder.
The Rome that Christianity has successfully destroyed
^This. At this point in time, it might as well be Washington, DC, Wall Street and London.

But the Catholic bashers will never listen to the facts.
