Do you think you could be faithful long term in a monogamous marriage?

Physically, absolutely. I'm an adult who has control over her actions.

Emotionally, probably, depending on your definition. I'm more than capable of shutting down an attraction, but they certainly still come up.

My only concern with it, as it was with the offer I made to BF, is that I would end up being unhappy. I believe I'm naturally happy with being polyamorous, whether that's because I'm naturally poly or my lack of jealousy is such that poly just fits for me.

Howdy, D. :)

How much do you share with your parents and/or family members in regards to your personal life?

Favorite console system?

Do you play survival horror games? If so, do you have a favorite?

My mom knows I'm poly and knows that OBF exists and other than that doesn't ask questions. She told my dad but he and I never talked about it before he died. Same as with my bisexuality.

I'm honestly not as close to family as I'd like, what they know is what's on facebook mostly - I have a lot of extended family on there too. But years of hiding stuff definitely builds walls that are hard to bring down. Add in my sister got upset when I came out on facebook because it hurt HER that I didn't tell HER - and she was even more upset when I told her it wasn't about her.

Favorite console system?
Last one I really played on was the Wii. I don't have any of the new Gen systems, we have a 360 and those are fine. I was always more a PC gamer, now a days I'm the definition of casual.

Does LARP count? I've played Dystopia Rising which is a post zombie apoc LARP where we're all infected. I'm a Vegasian (oh yeah from New Vegasia) fortune teller. It's fun, but horror isn't my prefered genre, I've always liked fantasy better for games in general and any sort of speculative fiction (fantasy, Science fiction, etc.) for reading.

were you always attracted to women as equally as you are to men or was it an attraction that had to be grown?

I can't say for sure. In high school, I was the awkward nerd. I didn't do much in the way of dating. My first REAL boyfriend, was in hindsight an *******. But I dated him for something like six years. He was emotionally abusive - although I let him slightly off the hook for being young and stupid like I was to put up with it. But I wasn't really thinking about things at the time. I do recall having a crush on another guy while dating said *******. But I was also raised Catholic.

I do remember wondering if I should have been born male a few times, it's possible that was in reaction to some early attraction to women. It wasn't until after I got out of that relationship that I started identifying as "heteroflexible" because I was attracted to women, but hadn't ever dated or kissed one. So I wasn't sure if bisexual was the right word for me. When I met my first girlfriend, oh I fell in love hard.

So, did it grow? Maybe, but more likely I think I opened up to those feelings myself.

Did you ever get around to trying anchovies on your pizza or meatloaf?
I did not. I think BF would probably kill me if I tried to put anchovies on his mom's meatloaf recipe... but he might be OK with it if I actually ate his mom's meatloaf recipe (can't help it, just not a fan :p)

I will make it a point to try them.

what is your idea of the perfect first date?
Hmmmm I don't know, I've had quite a few that were pretty awesome. Most of the time by the time I have a date, we've talked extensively online. BF's first date with me was - brunch, an afternoon movie, driving around and talking, dinner, and retiring to my apartment. We decided it was actually three dates since he "was not the type to spend the night on the first date." :D We'd also been talking for two solid months online and on the phone.

By the way, we saw Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters. It was silly and fun. Oh and it was Super Bowl Sunday so we couldn't go to the hibachi place we wanted. Why close the Japanese restaurant! Alas, their team must have been playing.

So really I don't have a great answer. A perfect first date is one where both* people want to spend more time together and feel that "spark."

*or three people in one case.

That's awesome. :D Whatta funnnn date!
You know, I saw a comment you made in another thread...about dating two people, and I thought...hmmm...how does she manage that. But, you seem SO grounded. Seriously. Kudos! :sunflower:

I just started seeing my neighbor...and we have been friends for a few years...and he asked if we could start seeing each other, see how it goes. I have trust issues when it comes to dating, relationships...not trust as in the person is going to cheat, etc...but more trust that it will work out, etc...

So this leads to my next question pour vous....

Do you have any trust issues with men or women, when dating?

It's hard won grounding. That first boyfriend was definitely kind of screwing with my head. And my first girlfriend, well, they say that often after someone comes out, they kind of go through a second adolescence... it was super puppy love crushing. So that didn't help that relationship (also they were unicorn hunters, but that's another story.)

I have some issues with being lied to or having things hidden from me. We need to communicate. I don't care if they want to sleep with someone else, I care if they want to hide it.

BF has a history of keeping stuff to himself, we butt heads on this but that's also what counseling is for. (And PTSD and depression are also what counseling is for, don't get run over by a truck)

Out of famous people in history who would you like to meet the most?
Tough one. I've been sitting here on it and can't come up with an answer. I mean the easy one is "Jesus and ask him a lot of clarifying questions" but that would be more of a "for the greater good" not who I'd really want to talk to, personally.

I can't think of a huge mystery I'd love to have solved... I need to think about this one :D

What part of the country are you from? What do you look like? I don't blame you if you don't want to post pics, but is there an actress or someone famous that you feel you look like or been compared to?

I'm from Illinois. I'm white, brown hair, glasses, blue eyes, average height.

America Ferrara was always my go-to celebrity comparison as someone who was curvy, sexy and proud of herself. She and I were both younger then and she was less famous.
