I think te lanus is definitely pretty close to wine. But, what matters more? Being surrounded by lots of wine, or being physically near wine (like having wine inside you)?

My vote for in vino veritas goes to Alceste. She was posting on her second bottle of pinot grigio the other night and there was enough truth coming out of her mouth to convict the most heinous murderer and admit she has the hots for me.

Yes, I was indeed planning to vote for myself. I would say that after this weekend my blood is probably about 62% pinot grigio, and I am muttering all kinds of profundities.
