The 2024 elections in America:
* Who will win, you think?
* Who will win, you hope?
* Do voters easily change their votes?
Do you think that it matters who will win the elections. I mean, Presidents easily make beautiful promisses, but in practice easily fail
You don't knowWe will find out next week.
You don't know
I meant "you don't know, your body might be dead by then"Not yet. Do you?
People on RF like to give their opinion and what they believe. What is right, and what is wrong etc.Not yet. Do you?

So, I am curious how many RF'ers dare to share their views/hopes on this item. My guess was, not many dare to share
Trump made a huge promise:I've seen quite a few elections in my lifetime. I make my selection and hope for the best. I think Kamala Harris is the lesser of two evils, so I do hope she wins over the other guy. Personally, I'm not influenced by any "influencers," so they're a non-entity for me.
I don't know what will happen in this country or in this world. I might have ideas as to what I might "hope" could happen, but I've seen some people can make things appear rather bleak and hopeless.
As long as we can refrain from nuclear war, I think we should be able to ride out whatever rough patches we're in right now. But it's hard to say.
I'll say that's a valid point as politicians constantly make promises and we know the track record after they get elected whomever wins.Trump made a huge promise:
"IF he becomes President the Ukraine war is over". So, at least in a few days we'll know if we can trust him, or if he just lied again, assuming he wins

Clearly the elections are influenced,
Not by Putin,
BUT by the American Newspapers and Big Tech
Seems you can't read wellSounds like you're ignorant as to what's going on

The impact of Putin is small as compared to the impact of the parties themselvesHow is Putin not playing a part when the Kremlin is literally paying internet celebrities to peddle pro Russian and anti Ukraine propaganda as well as to promote political commentary that aligns with Russia's interests?
The impact of Putin is small as compared to the impact of the parties themselves
And I think/hope that not all Americans are too gullible, and I assume most grown ups can make their own decision
Why would they spend all the millions campaigning? Clearly they believe this impacts the election outcome significantly, and, IMO, more than Putin impact
In an election that is a close call, any small impact can make a difference. The impact of Putin is small as compared to the impact of the parties themselves

Totally TrueSo most people these days, especially younger generations, listen to political commentators online when it comes to consuming information on politics. Each one of those influencers the Russians payed were getting 100k a week... There were many influencers that they payed. That's at least 10 million bucks that we know of invested to pay for influencers with millions and millions of Americans who subscribe to them and listen to their political commentary
Why would Russia put in that kind of money and effort in if it was pointless and ineffective? Seems like a bargain to me
