I'm expecting it to turn into an episode of Maury.

"Mr. Trump, you are not the winner of the 2020 election."
-Trump howls and throws chairs- "You're lying! You're lying!"

Sorry, Trump supporters, but Harris won this hands down, in every possible way. I am delighted, and I am also impressed with her performance. She has the spine that a President needs.
I agree. I hate that she went word for word with rally speech bites from time to time, but overall she was on top of the game, stayed close to topic, and found spots to get other points woven in.

I checked the local Danish media here in Denmark, and they said Harris won, but gathered some from the rest.

(Just reading the headlines)

CNN - Harris bests Trump in debate, but there’s no guarantee it will shape the election
BBC - Harris puts Trump on defensive in fiery debate
Fox - (Couldn't really find a headline saying one or the other, seems that they thought ABC was the loser) So will be a split I guess.

Seems like there is a slight tendency that it was either a tie or that Harris won by a little. If anyone has any other impression feel free to add them :)

Just saw the debate.

I wouldn't say that Harris wiped the floor with him, but she did come off as being a more sensible and caring person and seems more dedicated to actually solving the American problems.

Trump is very much talking in his usual Twitter language. Broad big words with very little meaning and obviously his usual throwing accusations around more or less randomly.

And my guess is, that the two camps are so fixed that I doubt nothing really changed here. Maybe Harris won a little since people aren't as used to hearing her as they are Trump, and she sounded more caring than he did, which might speak to some voters.

But people who already vote for Trump and buy his usual way of handling himself, I think would be satisfied hearing the same crazy talk once again.

When was the national debt last paid off? Oh yeah , I think it was back with that guy named Jackson.
The problem is that the national debt is getting to the point that America no longer earns enough to
pay off the annual interest on it. it is now growing by one trillion dollars every 100 days
$ 1,ooo,ooo,ooo,ooo. That is an unbelievable amount of debt. Your taxes are all going to pay off that interest, not going to pay for your services. It will soon mop up all federal spending with nothing to show for it.
That is like everyone working for a lifetime for nothing.
Still Trump does not care, he is not even interested. Not paying off debts is normal for him, as is bankruptcy.

anna.

colors your eyes with what's not there
Trump got owned.

And the plan of the Democrats is to even spend more than ever.

Debt to GDP ratios in China (350%) and Japan (225%) are much higher than the US (120%) yet no one is declaring those countries insolvent. They keep chugging along.

Those look fictional to me..
However it is cumulative debt that matter. That is what you have to service every year.
