Who would you support to be President of the United States: Donald Trump or Hilary Clinton?

Hillary. Trump boasts of having plans to do miracles, but he doesn't lay out any specifics. Hillary boasts of doing very little, but she at least has specific plans for accomplishing that little. Neither candidate would be my first choice.

If I was in the US, I wouldn't support either.

I so wish that were an option for me. As I see it, both will screw things up even more than things already are screwed up, but Clinton will maintain a few shreds of a country for the next president after her, while voting for Trump is voting to bring on the end-game.

What do you think of Trump's views on torture? It sounds like a major base of "modern Western values" to be against.

Yes. Just one example why Trump is not a serious candidate. G-d help us if Trump is elected. And I am stating this from a Jewish atheist persective ;).

Being prepared to do anything to protect the country, including torture, hardly qualifies for 'non-serious', and is a view many countries take.
Not torturing our POWs is quite inherent in American thinking. Trump plays off of people fears. I hope the public understands this by Election Day.

Do you believe torture works? You know they used to extract "confessions" out of people who didn't do it, but for information? Trump said (at least he was quoted) that he would use torture even if it didn't work, because "they" deserve it. What if "they" are innocent and you torture them for years and get no information.

If it came down to either Hillary or Donald I would have to vote for Trump.
1. I don't trust Hillary's stance on firearms. She has advocated for firearms registration but backed off. At this time she seems to be advocating for certain types of firearms that are now legal
2. Hillary is for Hillary
3. Hillary believes that she is above the law and will either break it or bend it to the breaking point.
4. I do not trust her economic philosophy
5. Do not agree with her stance on illegal immigration
6. Hillary is a liar and even has said that she doesn't think she has ever lied. (back to item 2)
I could continue but the biggest negative is that she is campaigning on being Obama3.0 and we all know my feelings about the Obama policies.

I find that ironic since Israel has already implemented most of Trumps "controversial" professed policies and Israel is almost unanimously supported by non-Israeli Jews. I am curious how your Jewish perspective makes Trump so objectionable?

This is not a great citation and it clouds the issue. The US is not Israel and we do not pursue identical policies and strategies. The world is not symmetrical and thinkers understand this. Trump is not a thinker. He acts, first for the profitability of his business, second, to promote fear in the electorate.

Correct, Hillary is campaigning on the identical philosophies Obama did and the country is still economically stagnant. Why would anyone expect different results? Some of these positions fall on their own at face value. She wants to bridge the income divide yet at the same time grant amnesty to 20 million people who are exclusively poor. Same with applies to wages. Professing to increase income yet fails to realize the cause is the saturation of unskilled labor ( 20 million illegals). Basic economics.
