Who would you vote for in Australia?

I'm totally unfamiliar with many of the issues the quiz asks about, so the results aren't very accurate. Still, this is what I got:

At least in the US we get free pamphlets,wine and the poll watchers wear pants. (I want to vote for the Aussie candidates that helped us stiff the French on that deal) [I lied about the wine] I don't understand the percentage break down. Anyway: Pirate 90%, Labor 85%, Animal Justice 80%, Green 78%, Liberal Demo 70%,One Nation 70%

'Twas our Prime Minister who stiffed the French on the sub deal. Scott Morrison. Liberal Party.

He's referred to as Scotty from Marketing if you're trying to get under his skin. Whilst I have voted Liberal before (not often, but it's happened) I'm not a fan of Morrison.

It seems the Shooters and Fishers Party don't rate a mention in the poll. Maybe they're only in state politics?

They contest just enough federal elections to avoid deregulation (ie. At least one every 4 elections, from memory), but they don't take them seriously at this time. They've made statements about it previously when there were rumoured defections from OneNation.

They are much more active in state politics and have sitting members in Vic and NSW. Maybe more states, not sure.
(They have either 1 or 2 members in those states)

Yup...they seem to be treating them as a faction of the Liberal Party. Kinda strange.

For those non-Australians, the Liberal Party (centre-right) and the Nationals (mostly rural-centric) have a longstanding alliance and are generally referred to as The Coalition.

When the Pm is a Liberal (like now) the Deputy PM is a National.
The Libs are very much the big brother in the relationship, but the Nats have enough electoral clout to force compromise much like a very strong internal faction would. That has recently occurred with relation to the setting of carbon targets...at least some of the reason Australia is lagging is the need for the government to get Nationals support for their position.
