If one limits his omniscience somewhat, then it could be he knew that humanity was going to screw up, but not sure how. Or wanted to see where, when and why. That or is there some purpose which humans are not aware of, at least not yet.Well?........................................

Your question assumes: God knew the result of creating the world God created it knowing said result The logical answer to your question is: If God knew what would happen when He created the world, and yet He created it anyways, then obviously He wanted things to play out as they have/had/will/would have.
Maybe if you were not indifferent you would be able to see some of the answers.
