Why did Russia want Trump to win?

Please in your own words describe why Putin wanted Trump to win

1. To weaken the Western alliance/NATO
2. To have a US less concerned about human rights
3. To internally divide America
4. To have a less antagonistic US policy towards Russia
5. To end sanctions
6. To have a US less concerned about Ukraine/Crimea
etc.

The most glaring item is that the other option, Hillary, was aiming towards inciting a global conflict with Russia.

Now we're heading towards inciting a global conflict with China instead, and Russia would side with America again. China has been eyeing the resources of Siberia and some geopolitical experts think that it is only a matter of time before they attempt to annex much of that land.

Secondly, Trump might work with Putin to put down that disgusting rebellion in Syria, instead of Hillary who more likely would have maintained the policy of funding the continuance of it. A stable Syria as Russia's ally allows for a new oil pipeline and more regional influence.

I think those are the two biggest factors. Putin, insofar as choosing someone to support had someone who was against almost all of his aims and looked to seek armed conflict with his country and someone who was open to the possibility of working together.

It benefits Russia to have an protectionist, isolationist America who is on good terms with their government. It will allow the Kremlin to project its influence further & further afield without having to worry about what America will do. Trump has pledged the former with his rhetoric of 'America First' and increasing the likelihood of the latter with his unilateral actions in America's relations with other countries.
This is the most succinct and accurate answer that I have seen.

Because Russia doesn't like ISIS and knows with US help they're basically going to be over with, and Putin is far more motivated by economic concerns than emotional ones.

If we were going to start worrying about what leaders do to people we'd not have a single Arab ally because of their humanitarian violations. But, no, it's far more fun to comment about Putin who doesn't even get involved in half of the crap these guys do, lol.

Ultimately, with Russia we can easily squash ISIS and keep terror-funding crazies from getting access to nukes.

Hillary was aiming for more shadow wars with Russia, but to help Russia. Yeah, bet your head just spun... Look, she sold them uranium already, and she had plenty of time to listen to them talk as long as she could figure out how to make money on it or give it to Soros. How against them can she really be?

Putin doesn't like ISIS because he had working relationships with all of the previous leaders in that region, and for him it is about oil and resources. The quicker this gets settled, the more cheap oil he gets access to.

And he can also easily manipulate American politics.

One big reason: the United States has sanctions against Russia. Clinton would have been very unlikely to lift them.

Trump, OTOH, has seemed open to the idea. There's speculation (though I don't know how reliable) that Trump may even have made an arrangement with Putin.

Regardless, even without an explicit deal between Trump and Putin, Russia stands to get a lot more trade - and Putin stands to get personally richer - with a President Trump than a President Clinton.

All political leaders have Psychiatric and personal profiles done on other potential National Leaders.
They need to know their weaknesses and how to take advantage of them.
It seems Putin has collected a lot of personal stuff on Trump. And knowing about his Npd syndrome. gives him a massive advantage compared to having to deal with Clinton.

It is also very much in Putin's advantage in knowing that Trump was likely to screw up on so many issues. and his general ignorance of politics and foreign affairs.
