Couldn’t you say this about innumerable groups of people?
No, . . . but maybe Jews and Native Americans.

Couldn’t you say this about innumerable groups of people?
I'm not sure I understand your question or point. But of course black lives matter. Of course all lives matter. It's obvious that those who feel it's important to say "black lives matter", say so because they believe those lives matter less to some. So it really means "black lives matter too." Maybe the latter phrase wouldn't cause as much concern over words.
Yes, you could. And what would you find wrong about that?Couldn’t you say this about innumerable groups of people?
Do you not understand why they use the slogan "Black Lives Matter"? It is not that "all lives" don't matter. It is because our system of government and its laws, act as if black lives do NOT matter. It's drawing attention to that. Of course, all lives matter, but because we act as if black lives do not matter, that they are telling us ignorant folk, they do.ALL Lives matter.
You must not get out much.Very few to than extand and for such a long and sustain period of time in the modern and contemporary era.
Nonsense. Blacks in America are not slaves and are as free as anyone else. Some groups: Native Americans, women, LGBT folk are subject to systemic discrimination. Blacks in the US are uniquely subject to it since slavery was abolished and continuing today.
BLM is a way of saying that blacks are part of the self-evident truth that all are created equal but the culture treats them as inferior in so many ways from slavery on.
It's saying "all lives matter and its time that blacks became an equal part of 'all'.
You must not get out much.
Actually, only very recently. and even recently: penal servitude up into the 20th century, persecution, physical destruction of black communities. lynching, forced segregation into ghettos, substandard education, housing and medical care, law enforcement and judicial persecution of blacks for a beginning. Also exclusion from GI bill education and housing benefits. and farm loans up until the 1990's.Nonsense. Blacks in America are not slaves and are as free as anyone else.
You are being selective in your recognition of the oppressed. There are many, many others, sad to say.No, . . . but maybe Jews and Native Americans.

The Southern states blocked legislation to prevent lynching up until the 1990's.
As are jewish people, so then would you suggest antisemitism isn't a problem? That jews are never treated differently, never have to deal with presumptions or prejudices? Yes, we're all free and equal, but in spite of this our culture, religion, ethnicity, etc. does often effect how we are seen and treated by others. This is a social reality.Nonsense. Blacks in America are not slaves and are as free as anyone else.
Because they're people.Let’s see where this goes.
None. That’s exactly why we should say “all lives matter” and not qualify it.Yes, you could. And what would you find wrong about that?
To be more specific (in case you didn't get it), which of those "innumerable groups of people" would you exclude from being lives that matter?
THAT discussion got a white woman shot in the headALL Lives matter.
And Jews in America’s are also not slaves and have the same rights as everyone else too, just like Blacks in America. As are jewish people, so then would you suggest antisemitism isn't a problem? And then there's Justin Bieber's "woke" take....And Jews in America’s are also not slaves and have the same rights as everyone else too, just like Blacks in America.
Prejudice by individuals, whether in the form of anti-Semiticism or anti Black bigotry, doesn’t change the fact that according to the Law in America’s all lives matter.
According to the law, but not to many of those who enforce it.And Jews in America’s are also not slaves and have the same rights as everyone else too, just like Blacks in America.
Prejudice by individuals, whether in the form of anti-Semiticism or anti Black bigotry, doesn’t change the fact that according to the Law in America’s all lives matter.
