In the quote in the post above, Sikhism has been included as a 'nastika' school. Sikhism does not deny Brahman, and therefore cannot be taken as 'nastika'. Sikhism's 'astikaness' or 'nastikaness' was never discussed. It is too recent. Also, even the 'nastika' schools were part of Hinduism, only differed in their opinion. For example, the Hinduness of the 'Charvakists' was never in question. They were very much so.

There are certainly some Buddhists and Sikhs out there who consider themselves Hindu :)

These labels are artificial, especially Hindu.

Although I and Hindu Punjabis think Sikhs are the 'fifth panth' of Hinduism (Santan Dharma,Arya Samaj, Buddhism, Jainism), Sikhs themselves do not. See Benti Chaupai,

Kaal paaé brahmaa bap dharaa. kaal paaé shivjoo avtaraa. kaal paaé kar bisan prakaasaa. sakal kaal kaa keeaa tamaasaa. (7)
Time came, Brahma was born, then Shiva was incarnated and then Visnu, Arose. It’s all Tricks of the Temporal Lord. (7)
Javan kaal jogee siv kee’o. bedraaj brahmaa joo thee’o. javan kaal sabh lok savaaraa. namaskaar hai taahé hamaaraa. (8)
Temporal Lord created Yogi Shiva; Brahma, the Utterer of Vedas. Temporal Lord, fashioned the entire Universe. I salute Him alone. (8)

And keeping on topic, Sikhs on Holla Mohalla provide Maha Parsad which is meat and the animal killed when Benti Chaupai is recited

Not to mention I do not know if Buddhism is a type of Hinduism because it REPLACED Hindu deity worship in the orient. Of course Buddhism and Jainism influenced Hinduism

I'm assuming you meant tamasika forms of these devathas, else one cannot account for Kṛṣṇa's own direction to his Yoga Māyā - Nandini - that people in the future shall worship her, and being His personal power, she cannot be tamasika.
yes i meant tamasika forms of devatas, and I dont know nothing actually about nandini, though i know a little on yoga maya

That is no surprise. Even my advaita does away with deities.
