Why do insults drive some people to suicide while others aren't effected by even the most heinous insults ?

Honestly I have remarked (but I can be wrong) that in US schools nobody supervises that all students live in perfect harmony.
I don't mean during class (of course they supervise during class). I am speaking during recess and even outside of classrooms (like in the school garden).
That increases the risk of bullying among students.

And since you think that supervising students to live in "perfect harmony" is a realistic goal, I'm guessing you have some sort of plan to achieve this?

If you do, please let me know so I can pass it on to my daughter who is a teacher.

In my school it was perfectly doable.
:)
Also...there's another atmosphere...you know...teachers and students going out to have a pizza together...or something, on Saturday night...

Well...being more like Miss Honey, and not like Miss Trunchbull...

You neglected to show how.

How does this help "students live in perfect harmony" (emphasis mine)?

I don't find movies all that helpful in solving such problems. But since you bring it up, how does this promote student harmony?

The problem comes when you are constantly put down and ostracized you'll value any opinion at all. Because you have no basis not to.

Could be a lack of self confidence or self respect that leads to this. That's what the perpetrator is aming for anyway.
