John 1 (KJV)
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
If you read Genesis 1 you see God spoke everything into being and everything created by his word.
God spoke of the Prophet to come.
Dueteronomy 18.
18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.
Jesus had Gods words put in his mouth and God foretold his coming. GOD is the word.
God makes this matter clear about Jesus before his birth so there will be NO EXCUSE for those who call Jesus anything but the Son of God.
31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.
32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
God has made it plain before his birth that Jesus is a Holy thing and he is to be called the Son of God.
24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
Jesus once again subjects himself under God,
The Holy Spirit is the power by which Gods words have always come to man. If you do not have the Spirit you do not belong to God.
Jesus said: " My Words are Spirit and they are life" Ephesians 6:
17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
God will not ask what other denominations believed or thought. Christians baptised with the Spirit will be asked what they did.
Angels are referred to as Sons of God and Adam a human man referred to as a Son of God. Believers referred to as Children of God.
But Jesus was fully human and divine in nature in that he lived as God would have him live obeying him.
A second Adam born of the will of God not the will of flesh. Moses was made like a god unto Pharaoh and his brother Aaron his prophet.
King James Bible
And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.
King James Bible
I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
What Moses did his power was the finger of God. Gods power and Jesus did the same. read up on the finger of God.
The Holy Spirit is a person and the power of God in a believers life.
KJV
Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.
The Spirit warns and corrects us.
It doesn't. It teaches that God was in Christ and that he put his words in his mouth.. God told us clearly that Jesus is to be called the Son of God.
If you worship Jesus as if he was God then you break the first commandment. Christ was clear about those whom he says he never knew. It is those who do not obey his
commandments to love GOD FIRST AND their neighbour as themselves. ........
I have been with you all this time, yet you have not known me.
King James Bible
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
King James Bible
Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
So Jesus was just as the Father and did as the Father did. Looking at Jesus you see the actions of God. Jesus had to be fully human to die. God cannot die he is the only true immortal. So Jesus is the Son of God and does as his Father does. So when you see Jesus you are seeing do what God does.
