The evolution v. ID/creationism debate is still very much relevant.

Earlier someone posted the revenue of organizations which push for teaching intelligent design in the classroom. They still receive money from a lot of Americans out there who believe this pseudo-scientific nonsense.

The Creation Museum is currently looking to expand, according to a couple of recent stories, and are capable of doing so based on their revenue.

Texas recently decided to go the low road on education in history and science.

Creationists just in a funny and twisted kind of way prove humans did in fact evolve from stupid monkeys to intelligent humans and show themselves up as evidence that some people need some catching up to do.

Evolution debate is only relative because I hang here. Did I mention the part where the Adult Pastor of the church down the street invited me to present my case - that scripture supports evolution - next time those Creationists crawl out of their hole in my hood?

Creationists arefollowing the path of happiness, avoiding the truth results in bliss.

I think this whole Creation vs. Evolution thing is a futile and unwinnable war, like Iraq but with less chance of it being productive. Too much focus on Creation takes away from ordinary Christianity. Satan must love this stuff because it plays right into his hands.

One of us short-timers might even get frustrated and lose focus on doing what is important -thereby potentially jeopardizing our opportunity to ask the eternal God in person how he went about making stuff.

I know a few people who think that evolution and creationism are BOTH true. Even the Catholic Church accepts evolution (and the Big Bang), as a mechanism that God used for the development of new and more advanced species.
