Why do you see others as your enemy?

Spirit of Light

Be who ever you want
I can't think of someone in another country as my enemy. I have never been to another country, so have no reason to feel that kind of emotion towards anyone in another country. If I disagree with a country's politics or culture, I remember that I don't usually agree with my own country's politics or culture, so the views being presented of another place's government or ideals doesn't necessarily accurately represent of the average citizen in that country.
I have been to mostly all European countries and a few middle eastern countries.i have no enemies anywhere. If they see me as their enemy, that is their problem, not mine :)

My enemies are the people that the people I trust tell me I should hate. I know they are bad because those people told me they are bad. I also read that they are bad, and I believe everything I read from the sources I trust. I've never spent any real meaningful time with these people, but I don't need to to know that they are bad people.

In knowing this I gain certainty. Certainty is a comfortable feeling, and it's easy.

But if the government is the enemy and the army the threat, individual opinions don't matter when they start dropping bombs.

End Times Prophecy.
If we self don't that call ourselves Christians don't know what enemy is, how could we help others to know who is their really enemy?

Let we study and practice Ephesians 6:10-18.

The civilians in that country didn't drop the bomb, the government utilized the military to do so.

It is correct, their opinions don't matter to their government anymore than my opinion matters to my government when it's about to do something stupid. So I don't hold government action against a citizen in that country.

Sounds like the kind of words a person I'd hate would say. People I trust would never say anything that would challenge my simple, tiny world view. I should dismiss these words and go about my simple, tiny life. :D

The military are the citizens.

A portion of them. Not all of them. I don't feel its right to just lump an entire population together and assume they all have the same thoughts and values.

And they all have varying reasons for joining the military. Some have no choice. Others do it because they perceive they will get some benefit out of it. Some do it for patriotic reasons. I don't profess to know what's in the minds of others. I try not to judge.

Wait, doesnt this mean that you're gossiping against gossips?
And if so doesn't that make you a gossip?
And if we shouldn't trust a gossip doesn't that mean that we shouldnt trust what you say? in which case we should actually trust gossips? in which case we shouldn't trust gossips? In which case. . . wait a minute. okay this is going to take a while.

And you're exactly the type that would believe everything my enemies told you about me and then hate me for just existing and being polite and I'd figure you got the disease.
